We must have faith in our loli. I'm not writing her or Duff off just yet.

Whilst I agree with Riful's survival, I just can't see Dauf making out of this alive.
He is not good at regeneration and with so many teams running around with enough power to kill him... dead meat.-

Of course I have faith; I'm giving her a 50/50 chance. She's already been severely wounded; by the AE's, by Alicia, by Raciella. If she is too have any hope of survival, she must escape immidiately. With all the possible killers though: the Ghosts, Raciella, Alicia and Beth, the AE's.....anybody can litterally walk in right now and finish her off.

Dauf however, I'm already writing off, he's a dead man: He's lost both hands, one entire arm, and has gaping holes in his chest. He hasn't technically lost his head yet, but we know he has extremely slow regeneration. The fact that he has holes in his chest also means he probably can't use his throat rods. It's why I think he's possibly already dead, dead from his injuries. He can't escape or even defend himself without dying, either from his wounds, or somebody else walking in and finishing him off. Riful has a much better chance of survival but Dauf....nice knowing ya.

Well, what use does Riful have to the story now though, that is the question. Once a character stops being useful to Yagi, he kills them off. That is why I was hoping that Riful's plan to be the mother to Raciella would've worked out, because it would've given her a purpose. The bright side is: I have no idea where the story is heading towards now, so who knows? Yagi just might find another use for Riful.

Of course, you are right Gangsta. Riful's legacy will live on in Raciella so if she dies right now, no one can say she didn't do anything or did not contribute to the story.

I like her, but if their ever was a time for her to die, it's now.

Hm, she's the only character I've had in my sig so far but I'm not in the group...tsk... anyways, I better join before she bites the dust, although I'm tellin you people *starts wishful thinking* she's gonna suprise us all and be around a little longer

Anyway, this last chapter was great for Riful Lovers. Last chapter things looked hopless for the loli of the west, this chapter it looks like she will get away and gain what she was looking for. Also Riful has grown as a character in that we see her human side surfacing in regards to dauf.

Yep, it was honestly a pleasent surprise: It's not that I don't like her that I practically wrote her off, things truly looked dire, but I guess I underestimated her

And if Alicia truly joins her as you predict Gangsta, then not only will she have an dramatically improved chance of surviving this ordeal, but her role in the war will shift as well.

And if it does happen.....Wow, what a day it's been for her

As for Dauf....I'm still writing him off. He's still in considerable danger and is most likely to die from his wounds but it's(unfortunately for me because I don't like him) possible that,
if in safe territory, he will steadily recover.

I'm HOPING he dies and Riful finally gets the competent ally she's always wanted in Alicia, but unfortunately, the odds of his survival have increased since Riful has gone out of her way to save him, even when she's falling apart. It just goes to show that she truly is honorable and cares for the people who care for her. I could never imagine Isley doing such a thing for any of his comrades. Perhaps towards the end of his life when he grew a heart, but nothing before.

Well, like I said, I think this chapter pretty much confirms that Riful isn't gonna die. This chapter had all the makings of what could have been a good death chapter; she was crying, and it still didn't happen. It would be shallow if Yagi did this only for her to die later.

So the question is what becomes of Riful and Duff now?
Obviously they'll run away as fast as whatever remaining limbs they have can carry them, but I mean after that. They'll heal of course... and with Priscilla and Raciella probably taking each other out, that'll leave Riful as the top dog.
You guys think she got her butt kicked enough to crawl back into the Abyss and live the quiet life with Duff?

right now she and dauf are certainly INSIGNFICANT, not sure about later on, if she and dauf can become significant again or not.

i'm not sure if the Ghosts would do this, but Riful's smartest option would be to ally herself with the Ghosts. Though this depends if Clare and the Ghosts would go along with it, and if Riful could be trusted or not... or keep her word of being an ally with them. Riful and Clare do have a repour/repoir (however you spell it, lol) with each other and seem to be somewhat "friends" with each other, lol.

Riful was last extremely pised at clare... and then the destroyer chaos ensued... and then prsicilla showed up... though i'm under the impression, based on riful's dire situation and riful's character (and her # 1 priority, saving her LOVE, dauf), she'd forget how pised at clare she was in an instant, if it means her and dauf sruvival from teaming up with clare and the other ghosts, if possible..


however... there's still the possibility that renee gets her revenge on riful..... we don't know where renee is... maybe she's going to take Riful out while Riful is helpless, just like Rafaela did to helpless Luciela....

I know some people have their hearts set on Riful allying with the ghosts - but let's be real here. That's completely out of character for both sides.
- Riful is stronger than the ghosts, and she hates Clare
- The ghost's job was killing youma and ABs.
To think these two could ever get along is more than just wishful thinking...

RIP to our favorite villian.
Even though you may you may not be tasty, at least fill Prissy's tummy in order to save Clare, Helen and Deneve.
So sad...

Riful's (and Dauf's) death wasn't disappointing for me, because:

she (and Dauf) had quite an "endurance" test and performance, and should NOT be looked down on:

Riful (and Dauf) really "got it rough" :

1. Clare (well, okay she only briefly engaged Dauf, but still...)
*Destroyer Awakens*
2. AFs/AEs
3. Alicia+Beth+AFs/AEs
4. Destroyer's volley of huge projectiles+Alicia+Beth+AFs/AEs
5. Priscilla*

*really unfair, obviously. total difference in power. even had riful (and dauf) been at full strength/power and not damaged/tired/exhausted/yoki-less, they still had no chance at all, considering the vast difference in power of priscilla we've seen in ch 99 compared to the AOs (Alicia, Beth, and Riful and in earlier chapter of Isley) and ABs (Dauf and hellcats and in earlier chapter of Rigardo).
