Mass Effect 3
Well, if you go that way, Magnus, she was still the more developed character, outside of Garrus - strangely enough, I never could quite picture him as romance material, more like a best friend for life (and
), myself. Those two were my preferred squad-mates, whenever I could have them both together.
And you cannot argue that her sex scenes were the best, now can you?
Tali is pure innocence and her romantic scenes were quite nice and bubbly, but I started out with Liara and I haven't really regretted it, ever since the first one - even if I did stay with Miranda, since she wasn't available for the second game, originally.
Also, Tali and Garrus is just... too... awesome.
, yeah, that's the one we're talking about. But your description only shows you don't know the first thing about the characters, dude.
But your description only shows you don't know the first thing about the characters, dude.
LOL, I don't.
I haven't played any of the series
Tali was just as developed as soon as part two came rolling around ( which Liara mostly sat out, if you care to remember ). And if you think Talis romance in part three is
... the words fail me. And "pure innocence" does not really describe her after her personal mission in ME2.
Sex scenes don't really do much for me in ME3. I prefer the personal aspect of the romances.
And while Tali and Garrus together is a nice idea, I much prefer her with my Shepard. Sorry, he ain't Bro!Shep enough to give her up, even to his best bud Garrus.
why I prefer the hot-ass blue alien, myself. Let Garrus be happy. He deserves it.
Also, Liara sitting out of most of part two was what made me go for Miranda (that and DAT ASS). But it only took Lair of The Shadow Broker to make me go for her again - that and her jealous-like comments about übber-brunette.
And, c'mon... But scenes that include comments like "
You're my knight in shinning armor
" and similar undertones cannot be considered anything but bubbly - remember, I haven't played Tali's romance in part three, yet.
I guess that explains it. But I still think of "bubbly" like a whole other thing. Sure, Tali approaches her romance as someone who is
that Shepard would notice her and babbles a lot ( maybe you meant
? ), but I associate "bubbly" with some J-pop ditz. What we have with Tali is more along the lines of Willows behaviour in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
And that quite changes tone in ME3, when Tali is shown as more confident in her relationship with Shepard.
Willow cannot be considered as anything but bubbly. Or a spaz.
Also, Tali's face kinda sucks, no?
We have different definitions of the term, definitely. Let's leave it as that.
And I think her face really came off well. If I compare to the horrible,
rendition of Jessica Chobot as Diane Allers, I am very happy that we got to see a real photo. Yeah, yeah, it was some stock photo, blablabla. It still was quite a beautiful shot. The only thing they could have done better with it would have been to do the hand correctly.
I still wish it was shown in-game, tho. I mean, it seems kinda like cutting an awful lot of corners, no?
Also, her not-so-nice ending was quite brutal, as well. Thankfully, I started the game with most of my Paragon stats already maxed out and didn't have to actually experience it...
But, honestly, she was one of the few well-handled ME2 romances, wasn't she? I mean, other than her and Garrus, the LI's were pretty borked, specially for FemShep...
Yeah, since I only got Paragon playthroughs, I never got into the situation where I had to sacrifice the Geth. That was kept for the Destroy ending. ^^
As I said, given how Jessica Chobots rendition turned her into Snooki, I am happy that we got a RL picture for Tali.
As for the other relationships, outside of Tali, Garrus, Kaidan, Liara and Ashley... they got a raw deal. Especially the poor souls who went for "
But the priiiice...!
Jesus, Jacob kills everything dead, even interesting conversations like this one, doesn't he?
Sorry, I just got a bit nostalgic and was roaming around the older threads.
I am pretty reconciled with BioWare, btw., mostly due to the godlike Citadel DLC, which was so excellent that it dispelled a lot of bad feelings.
Still going to wait out the reviews for Dragon Age: Inquisition and getting it as cheaply as possible, though. ^^
is only awaiting the liberation of the download by the PSN Gods... And I agree, that Citadel DLC was fuckin' AWESOME.
Best DLC ever. I'll be totally honest, if ME3 in its entirety would have had the same tone as Citadel, the game would have been much better. The grimdark quotient was a bit high in the main game.
I'll very probably buy DA:I, but I want to read some reviews first. Also, ahem, I may be financially unsound when it comes out, so I'll have to wait until my next paycheck, anyway.
Yeah, well... That's a problem, alright.
As for me, I had already bought the damn thing when it first became available for pre-order. It is the game that made me want a PS4, after all (back when everyone thought it was just a "
" game) and the franchise that most makes me want to sit down comfortably and play for hours on end.
But that won't stop me from getting
The Witcher 3
when it comes out, either.
Heh, I already bought The Witcher 3... for 20 Euros. The site seems legit (
) and the code should be sent to me when the game releases. I won't be missing out on
I get my next salary in the last week of the month, so I won't have to wait too long for DA:I. I'll still try to get the cheapest key possible (thanks to Ebay).
was disfunctional within a few months and I never got the key. So much for that. ^^
Yeah, sorry, guys. I just wrote about two pages of summary about the ME3 ending when I noticed how repetitious and stupid it was to do so. I already did so once and cited much better sources than my blathering a few years ago. This is just repetition and won't really interest anyone.
Gubaba can suck a bag of cocks, by the way.
So, you haven't played
, yet? You're missing out on a little masterpiece, mate.
is still my favorite game ever, tho.
Eeeeh, I am just not feeling the Total War mood at the time. It will always be there when I get it back. At the moment I am prepping a lot for the next World of Warcraft expansion.
I never really got that much into DA:I, found most of the story and characters super bland (or super super annoying in the case of Sera). The Witcher 3 is a much better game, IMO. Hell, Dragon Age: Origins and Mass Effect are clearly better games than DA:I to me.
Sera way my waifu, more respect there, mate.
