Mag pinoy ka na lng, anyway. Fine nman yung dub eh... depende pa rin sa Pinoy Seiyuu natin... If I recalled most of the dubbers sa atin na magagling ay galing ABS... no bias... magaling lang tlaga...

Honestly, I prefer to watch the sub than the dub... but I'll stick with a good dub.

Mas mabuti pa na either English subs o Tagalog dubs (yung isang screenwriter na alam ko fan din naman ng Naruto kaya kabisado ang source material).

Well kung ganyan... Tagalog na ako... Minsan kasi kulang sa emotion ang English eh

(slightly-offtopic) Depende sa kung sinong naghahawak ng source material at kung paano nagdidiskarte ang ADR director at ng voice cast, kaya iba-iba ang resulta: minsan parang wala sa lugar (ang boses ni Natsuki sa Tagalog na Mai-Hime, siya din ang boses sa Tagalog na Alias), minsan nababagay talaga (maraming tsundere roles si Grace Cornel), at minsan napaka-perpekto (i.e. ang Tagalog version ng Evangelion).

Pero sa ngayon, parang mas madaling kumita sa pag-dub ng k-drama. :P

@ kazzuya13. Hmmm... maliban sa sagot ni sa547, minsan may mga lenguahe na normal sa hapon pero di nman nararapat sa atin, kaya minsan sadya ang pag-iiba sa dubbing para pwede sa general public.... MTRCB...

Stopped watching any form of dubbed anime years ago.
I prefer japanese language with english subs 100% of the time.

Needless to say, I obtained maximum lulz out of this.

Subs... my main problem with dubs is that they sound so unnatural compared to japanese seiyuus.

It's like this... if my brother is watching a cartoon on the TV I'd know he's watching a cartoon by just listening to the voices. English(save for disney animated movies) and Filipino dubs have this problem. Try watching a japanese show that's not an anime... listen to how they speak and compare it to how japanese seiyuus do anime characters. It sounds much more natural.

Natural is the word and the reason why I prefer subbed. But it can't be help if some prefers the dubbed since... some of those little kids ( my nephews) will protest coz they don't understand a thing unless it's Filipino

... hearing a lot of opinions here. Mejo a-hole ako pagdating sa mga Pinoy dubbers (lalo na sa HERO TV, but most of the time only). Problema naman sa mga subbers is that kung mali-mali naman ung mga subs (I'll cite examples: Hidan no Aria, subbed by ewan ko kung GG fansubs or something... pati ung OVA nun subbed by Hadena; tapos InuXBoku SS, ewan ko kung sinong nagbigay ng subs dun), kailangan mo pang intindihin ang context at yung ibig sabihin ng bawat eksena thru actions (gamalayan ko naman kung nagse-sex na pla ung mga amps e ). It's like the use of plastic bags versus the use of paper bags: neither can totally eliminate the problems (plastics melt over thousands of years, whereas paper bags destroy most forest covers thru illegal logging).

But still, I prefer subbed anime (parang sa-hinaba-haba-ng-prusisyon-e-sa-simbahan-ang-tuloy ang nangyari aa)

LOL, your comment was so damn funny, but I agree with you.. hayst.. iilan lng and magagaling na dubber natin sa Pinas... About the subs... rush kasi eh... monggo nga pati VICE sa VICE PRESIDENT, ginawang VISE...
