Haven't seen this one mentioned either ... I began watching it some time ago and still have not finished it. It seems to start slowly, kinda like 3000 Leagues in Search of Mother did.
Anyone else seen it?
Hm not yet
hesitant to start due to the 34 pause unless I can find neo's version of it.
For a second I thought Licca did it but just realized the name I was having trouble remembering was Pollyanna. Silly WPM and their similar titles. How many "Story of P" and "X of the Alps" and "Nobody's X Remi" do we need?
Neo's version is on bakabt. If you want to conserve hard drive space I believe there have been encodes of the series made for the psp, i.e. hardsubbed mp4 files at 480x272 res. If you don't mind the size pm me.
neither do i... by the way im new in thisgroup soo hope to know every1 soon
C1's version has no seeders:
I found a version which has 1 seeder/leecher ATM
It appears to be the whole series so that's where I'll try to get it.
If I remember correctly I believe I have seem a three-way joint TL release by KiteSeekers-Wasurenai-Licca recently for this series and that they are up to ep 40 or something like that?
In any event, perhaps they will release a batch when they are done ... only 10 eps or so away atm it seems.
Yeah. Even though I have the whole series subbed, this might be one case where I'd actually download a duplicate because I'm sure their work is higher quality than the one I started watching.
if you want to document the characters. I got bored doing it =/
Iirc this series is only 2 eps away from being completed by Licca-Wasurenai-KiteSeekers. Good on them.
Licca Fansubs have finished Perrine!...though I wish I could watch all of them, eps 1-34 included.
I finally finished Perrine Monogatari! Can read my review of it here:
It's so lovely and delightful, and modern anime these days REALLY need to follow this show's example in terms of execution!
That's a good review there firechick. Many thanks. ^^
Thanks, Flower! I just hope they don't sound preachy or biased, or give off the wrong impression.
It appears the 480p version from 2010;
which was about 15 gigs
Was supplemented by another 480p version in 2012:
which was about 9 gigs.
Sub quality aside, the difference appears to be due to as slight reduction in video/audio data, the 2010 being 1350kbps/192kbps while the 2012 was 900-1000kpbs/128-160kbps.
Kind of curious what happened between episodes 34 and 35, I figure Licca/WSRN switched sources?
