Seems like after paying the monthly bills and semi-annual tuition, I won't be getting the new iM@S 2 for PS3 as of yet. *sadface*

I'm snatching my DVD recorder back from my parents though, so I might just record gameplay using the demo or something.

I'm hopefully getting Dearly Stars for Christmas since it's the only game that comes on a system I own.

Dearly Stars was the DSi-enhanced version, correct? Be sure to run a safety check and see if your DSi/3DS will run it, because I was under the knowledge that it doesn't.

Just in case, you know?

I thought it was that it was region free on the Lite and the original but could only be played on a Japanese DSi?

As far as Dearly Star goes I know it'll play on a US DSLite, as far as a DSi goes...I THINK it'll still play, you just wont be able to use the DSi features, or so I hear. Though thats not a big loss since all you really can do is use the camera to capture QR codes (thats what they call those barcode-like blob thingies right?) to get items for the game...that you can get in the game anyway. The 3DS? No idea there, is the region lock set on the 3DS games or the system itself?

So...you have a DSLite? (I'm hoping) cuz again, I'm not 100% on the DSi, I just heard about it so... But if you have a DSLite the you're good to go 100% as I play my copy on my US DSLite.

...and yes, I'll try and enjoy my copy of iM@S2 next weekend. I'm gonna go pick up my PS3...assuming I have no further "surprise" expenses come up. orz. But when I do then I'll see if I can put up some screenshots of the G4U...which is the swimsuit issue. But as it says over my current sig, "Its always summer in the land of fantasies". LOL

I'm hoping on getting the Idolm@ster 2 on Singapore early November...

Yeah, I've got a DSLite.

I bought Idolmaster DS recently (haven't had time to play it). It works on my DS lite, but isn't even recognized by my DSi XL (US version). I like Lites because of their GBA compatibility, so I'll be keeping one around as long as possible.

Ordered Idolmaster 2 for PS3, should be getting here in a few weeks.

I don't even have a PS3 yet, so I'm probably not getting it anytime soon.

Btw does anyone know if Ds game features the idols from 765pro? Oh well I'll probably get it for Eri. She's voiced by HanaKana right?

I know some of the girls make cameos in Dearly Stars, but I'm pretty sure you can't play as them.

And I don't own any PS systems. Used to have the very first one but that stopped working ages ago and we got rid of it. My sister has a PSP but that's it.

@JohnNiles: Yeah, it's definitely a great idea to keep one around- I still have mine for Fire Emblem and Sonic Battle alone.

@RainbowMagnet: As .:Jason:. said, the 765 Pro idols make cameos and play a decent role in the story, but your main group is 876 Pro. And yes, Eri's voiced by the wonderful Hanazawa Kana, but I found the show stealer of 876 Pro was always Hidaka Ai...well, in this game at least.

Yeah, the 765Pro girls appear in Dearly Stars. Some appear in the stories of each character. Like if you play as Eri you'd actually meet Miki as a rival in an audition. If you're playing as Ryo then you'd get to see Ritsuko.

They also appear during the Lessons. You have to choose a specific lesson type on a specific day of the week to see them though. But the benefit of seeing them is that if you get a Great or a Perfect Lesson (I dont remember if that was an actual requirement) then you'll get their character motion unique to each character that you can use in the dance edit mode.

...and I gotta agree with papermario, Ai's story took the gold in Dearly Stars. Eri's story is a tear jerker too but Ai's story really gets to you. Though its kinda unfair for me to say that since I've yet to progress any further then the first 3days in Ryo's story. But...I just cant...keep playing as Ryo...orz

It's just as well that I won't be able to understand the story. I don't want to be tearjerked. ;_;

Well, I got my copy of iM@2 on Wednesday and I picked up a PS3 today...(T^T) I'm so happy to be alive. I'm taking a break right now since I dont want to over work my precious PS3. (spent most of my time DLing demos, PVs, etc. so)

As far as iM@S2 goes I just finished my first audition. To see all those lovely characters in 3D...(not counting Kotori-san...sad)(T^T) Currently producing Takane, Yukiho, and...like you'd have to guess? YAYOI!!! So...cute...orz. First song I chose was "READY!!", to be finally able to see the dance sequence. (T^T) I'm so lady now

I was wondering what they did about the president seeing as how the previous VA passed away...so he was replaced with his identical cousin (voiced by the current VA) huh? Well...yeah, that works I guess.

Anyway, I shall return sometime this weekend with G4U pics for our group.
