Kotohana Kitan (Episode 1): This story of cute fox girls working at an Inn that serves spirits is generally pleasant and low key. If that sounds appealing to you then you might like it.
Food Wars: The Third Plate (Episode 2): I forgot to cover this one in my previous round up.
I'm a big fan of food wars, but I'm actually finding the new season a little disappointing. It seems more okay than great and the first episode references events from an OVA I haven't seen which is mildly annoying.
Just Because (Episode 2): This episode seemed more focused and easier to follow than the first episode. I think Mahoutuskai no Yome may have a broader appeal, but for those who don't mind down to earth coming of age stories this one is another of my top picks.
Mahoutuskai no Yome (The Ancient Magus' Bride) (Episode 2): The second episode kind of hangs a lampshade on parts of the premise I found sketchy and solidifies this show's position as my top pick of the season. I really like the sense of the magical/fantastic in this show.
Net-juu no Susume (Recovery of a MMO Junkie) (Episode 2): I was reminded of this one when I came across a recommendation by a reviewer. Personally I wasn't so impressed though I found it pleasant enough. I am curious as to when the main characters are going to discover that they actually know each other online (or vice versa) as a potential romance between the two feels like it ought to be one of the show's main hooks.
Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryoukou (Girl's Last Tour) (Episode 1): This story of two moe girls traveling through a post apocalyptic world seems rather simplistic and low key, but it has a strong sense of atmosphere. I'm not hugely keen on it myself but I think there are people it would appeal to.
So far a lot of the stuff I've watched seems to be pretty low key. Not a whole lot of intense action and drama or really zany comedy (to be fair that's at least somewhat a reflection of what I've chosen to watch). A lot of these shows are kind of "depending on your taste" titles.
Mahoutuskai no Yome is the only one I'm inclined to make a broad general recommendation for.
