Let's see. . . the most intriguing characters are also ones I greatly like.
Ichigo Kurosaki [Bleach]: a bit stubborn, and rough speaker, however, the first to stretch a hand to others. He believes his powers are meant to protect others especially his friends and family, and only fights when needed. A respectable person in my opinion.
Aichi Sendou [Cardfight Vanguard]: I love how humble he is, but it is to a fault as he has a lack of self confidence. As he progresses, he learns to believe more in himself. He treasures his friends and is nice to everyone, even those who mistreated him before.
Cruz Schild [Needless]: Practically the same as above only his lack of confidence at first is more severe. Cruz is easily discouraged and cries easily when facing impossible odds. He lives in a harsh environment, where power is everything as many have special abilities or powers called fragments. He always had to depend on others to live. For him, to still be alive is a miracle and a mistake compared to those more suited to live. He feels his existence is truly needless. However, through his journies, he has learned to do what he can if not through strength that he lacks, then by wit and strategy. With the group of extraodinary people he is with, he tries to help them in his own way by using his intellect. When discouraged, he faces it. Even when faced with more failures than successes, he continues to move forward and grow. Now, he is more optimistic and strong-willed. His growth is one of the most satifying aspects of the story (original manga not anime).
