@antlan87: Idiocy, unfortunately, is prevelant.
I'm not a fan of people much, either; there are people I like and people I don't and Dezo hid my smite button so I can't zap the ones I don't like, especially ultra-conservative, right-wing nutjob Republicans.
(To be fair, i don't like ultra-
anything but I especially dislike the ultra-conservatives because they can do, and have done, a lot of damage with their moronitude.)
The smite button goes back to my college days. I was born a redhead-with the redheaded temper although I've mellowed out a lot over the years and my hair is more brown or auburn, depending on what light I'm standing under, these days. I used to dye my hair (which I did off and on starting when I was 14 although I used to do it more frequently after I turned 18 and into my 20's; I dyed my hair purple by accident once the summer before my second year of college when I left on darker auburn shade dye I was trying since I wanted something different
too long.To my surprise, I found I liked it and so did others which I found hilariously funny.
I haven't dyed my hair in at least 6-8 years or longer) and a friend of mine said to me once-my second or third year of college-that he was glad that I wasn't God. I asked him why and he said I would have a smite button: "smite, smite, non-smite, smite, smite, non-smite, smite, non-smite, smitesmitesmitesmite! (Sound effect of my finger hammering on the smite button.
)" LOL! I had a really good laugh at it and I still get a kick out of it 18/19 years later.
My temper was legendary in college.)
I tend to ignore people who irritate me in the world and online-and rant AFK
-and I deal with in a rather unusual fashion that works really well for me which I've done for many years [long before I left Canada]: I watch my favourite shark horror movie,
Jaws, and imagine that the person or people who are annoying me are the ones being chewed up onscreen. It's amazing how much better I feel afterward and I get rid of my anger in a constructive, and non-destructive, manner.
