O.m.g. I want to hug you to bits Mei. Thanks for those translations! It just occured to me that the movie is airing already so I just had to sign in here after decades and decades of being absent. I found the audio link and listened because I'm not planning to wait for another 6 months for the DVD. The wait is unbearable lol I actually wasn't anticipating much in this movie seeing it's more Sheryl centric but wow...After reading spoilers and listening to the audio, I ended up liking it more than I thought.
The idea of Alto and Ranka as best friends impressed me a lot couple with the fact that the two are in the "more than friends, less than lovers" zone. To think that Kawamori managed to hold on to what he built in the TV series and at the same time cater to Sheryl's character. As I thought I like Sheryl strong and proud.
I really enjoyed the movie spoilers Mei posted. It's funny that even if there may be a little more scenes of Alto with Sheryl and the movie was indeed Sheryl-centric (perhaps due to popularity?), his relationship with Ranka still stayed true to the TV series and was even more spelled out. That's what I was most afraid of changing but it looks like I was just being silly. If Kawamori is still planning to stick to his TV canon once he retells the second half, then I suppose I don't need to worry, yes, even if the fated separation between Alto and Ranka happens. Actually, I'll even look forward to it.
lol@"ranka-alto-kun on repeat"
Five times. Geez...Five times in the same scene? That's so ^.^-worthy. Alto and Ranka hug sounds too good to be true. I'm totally ecstatic by that fact, but I guess I would just have to see the scene for myself to actually believe it. Even if they just held hands, I think it's going to be even more fatal than 100 stolen kisses combine lol Well simply because the gesture sounded so...innocent, pure, mutual and everything nice. Ugh I've turned into a spoon again. x_x
Lastly, I missed you guys
