POST: Day 2, Post #2
So much for getting useful information.
[Will 3 - 1 = 2 dice: 4 2] [0 successes] "Brian?" Mark half-whispered, half-moaned, as the corpse-thing walked towards him. No! No, it couldn't be, Brian had already had his head... [Sanity loss: 1]
Mark screamed as he leaped back, the thing -
not Brian! No! - lumbered towards him, ignoring the cringing, witless orderly already lying on the floor. He brought up his flamethrower, his hands unsure on the trigger for a moment - would he set the entire place on fire? But it would be worth it, if this thing departed the earth with him... He backed up another step, and
[Combat 3 +2 (Alien Device) -1 = 4 dice: 5 2 1 3] [1 success] the device floating behind him spat a pulse of blue light. When his eyes cleared again, most of the corpse's leg was missing, and Mark simply brought down the flamethrower barrel on its head. Quite satisfying.
He hoped Brian never heard about this. He'd never stop making jokes about it.

I'm honestly kind of surprised Mark had a problem with zombies... surely he's seen enough dead people by now. *shrugs*
Interesting question: Can I activate an item/weapon for a roll I'm in the process of making? I know you can use clue tokens that way, but...
Yui: Uh-oh.... if the 1 combat die you've got available (from the clothes) isn't enough to fight off the ghost, I'd suggest spending clue tokens. It's probably worth it to avoid a hospital trip plus getting your clothes ruined... remember that you succeed on a 4-6 on a die, and you only need one success here!

EDIT: Deathcurse: Hey, at least you won't have any problem with yours... well, aside from the guaranteed 1 SAN loss.
