I'll post it here too.
For those that are curious, this is a cross-over of Rosario and the movie 'Underworld'. I'll alter some things about this as I go on but this will mostly feature Inner Moka in the place of Selene from the 'Underworld' movie. With that much info, the rest can be figured out easily enough, ne?
Night.
Her entire life has been the night.
Her entire life has been war and strife.
A warrior - one of the most powerful even amongst those called 'Death Dealers' - she was the prodigy - she was the the brighest star.
Darkness. It welcomes her as a mother long forgotten. How many years has it been since she had seen her mother's face... How many
centuries has it been...
She focuses her eyes back upon the throng of people below, moving without a care or worry beyond their miniscue existances. Humans... So weak...so fragile. Hardly worth anything other than being the source of her nourishment.
Her hair swayed like an etheral shroud of rays of moonlight in the wind as she looked to her partner for this night. Across to another tall spire sat Terivus, his keen eyes darting back and forth from the scores of humans below them, scanning for their hated prey. She had seen his files but had never met the fellow until this night. Not that she cared for Terivus, or many of her fellow hunter-warriors. Still, they were far better company than the rabble that spent their eternity wasting themselves and their immortality by indulging their wanton and depraved desires in twisted games of persudo-aristocracy. Despite her standing amongst them, second only to the current leader and the Elders themselves, she paid them even less attention than the humans. Unlike them, she had a mission. Unlike them, she had a purpose.
Something caught Tervius's eye and she followed his gaze down below. There they were. Their gait was hardly that of a normal human - too strong, too nimble, too quick. She could smell them from even her high perch. Were they stalking prey? No matter, she would dispose of them as usual, but...something was amiss. The sky lit up as lightning streaked across the clouds in the distance but she paid it no mind. The coming rain will do well to wash away the blood of the coming battle.
Terivus leapt first, a soundless, weightless glide some 40ft to the pavement below, landing with the weight of a mere cat. Even as her eyes traced his fall, they could not help but turn towards their prey once more. There were more now, making their total of four in all. But why did they not move in on their prey? Who or what were they stalking that they would take such careful percautions? These thoughts she banished to the back of her mind as she eased herself over the ledge. In all, these thoughts too were not relevant to her mission - to her life calling. She will deal with her prey as she had for a millenia now. As she landed, her long black trench coat barely brushing against the ground, she glanced up at the moon again. A hunter's moon - tainted red in the pollution haze of the city. A good sign for her - bad for her targets. A smile tugged the corners of her mouth enough to give one a glimpse of impossibly enlongated craines. Yes, it shall be a good night - a night filled with the smell and stench of blood and violence.
