Right? I'm shocked. They should have left the ones that aren't licensed in English at the very least. They removed Hozuki-san. That will never be licensed in English. This is so asinine.

I'll have to prioritize it then. I should have hunted down a DVD at the last con I went to. But I think ADV is out of business, so a new company might pick it up and give it nice packaging and stuff, you never know.

I watched the first one which just concluded the anime, covering the final chapters of the series. I have to watch the second but it's such a low resolution I have to watch it on my computer. I used to watch that way all the time but since I've started watching everything on my HDTV, with my surround sound system, I'm not satisfied watching on the computer, lol.

Mogami was a lot like Madoka in the beginning, then she got boring. She beat Yamato up the first chapter and after that - nothing. But Madoka is awesome. She is indeed one of the best. It sucks that the manga had to end like it did. I would have liked to see them go on dates and stuff. I know most series usually tank when the hero gets the girl, but it would have been good.

Yeah, the 2008 one is the 2.0. And they are compilation movies, so you should watch the TV series instead. It's not condensed and all.

No, there are two movies: Ghost in the Shell (has a 2.0 remaster) and Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence.

Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex - The Laughing Man and Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. 2nd GIG - Individual Eleven are compilation movies of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG respectively. They summarize the "complex" episodes of the series. If you don't know what that means, basically the TV series had some episodes that stood alone plot wise, like the bad guy was found and the defeated, and then there are the episodes that contribute to the overall plot, called "complex" episodes.

Then there is a TV special, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex - Solid State Society, sequeling 2nd GIG. I suppose this can be viewed as a movie, seeing how it's 105 minutes long. I actually haven't watched this one yet...I don't know how I missed it, lol.

Yeah, I'll look into Tsukihime. First I really have to catch up on my anime and manga.

Finish them? There's only two man.
