I have a few theories which I wanted to share with you. I just wanted to know your opinion or if you had anything else to add because I know you have a vast knowledge on the Macross World. When it was revealed that Mikumo was a concept Kawamori had since DYRL, I couldn't help but think it made so much sense. Even before episode 19 aired, I had a feeling it was all connected. DYRL takes a drastically different approach from SDFM in regards to the power of song. This is where the protoculture theme (Mikumo) began. Rather than releasing her right after, he waited until several subsequent releases. What's interesting about the other series is that they all add to the time-line to make her role in the story make sense. In fact Anima Spiritia is basically the first name for "Fold Waves" and Minmay's earring heavily resemble a fold quartz (especially with each new image of her). So in regards to Roids plan, Mikumo, and mind control/fold network, Sharon Apples hypnotic songs began bother me. People have always wondered how her songs hypnotized others. Do you think its possible that since she is a super intelligent computer, she was able to use her music (and replicate or emulate foldwaves) to its truest ability. What i'm trying to say is, was her intelligence of music so vast that it allowed her to understand the full extent of how the protoculture species used music. However she wouldn't understand the protoculture links since she is an AI?

Sorry if I'm not making any sense, and I hope you can offer some of your knowledge. If this is completely off let me know so I can drop it. Thanks
