Hard to deal with the fact that even serious or fun YKK discussion is as much a victim of "mono no aware" as the series itself. Harder for me because I discovered the series last year (2010), almost 5 years after its end.
My biggest regret is not discovering YKK when it was an ongoing concern and when the artbook could actually be purchased directly from Amazon's Japanese division... btw, I got all 10 volumes of the reissue though I think those who bought the original 14 volumes got a better selection of bonuses. Thank God for scanlators who included those goodies when scanlating the stories.
