She and her Cat has surpassed all of my expectations. They've managed to get me attached to Daru in less than 15 minutes. I have a feeling the final episode is going to be a tear-jerker, but I'm sure it'll end on a positive note.

Rakugo has been consistently great, it's disappointing they're not going to adapt the full manga. They introduced the present characters in the first episode and likely won't be able to do anything with them. I'm crossing my fingers for a season two, but there's zero chance that's going to happen with the poor sales and the manga ending. I'll have to pick up the manga to discover the latter half of the story.

Reactions are pretty subdued on Animesuki. I expected it to be worse than that to be honest. I think it's pretty natural to be upset given how much the series shipped these two. Seeing your ship sink this spectacularly and suddenly is not easy.

Yeah, next week will probably bring some interesting discussion.

As far as the main person arguing and getting upset about a 10 year old not waiting, that particular poster is new and has a particular habit of posting very negative and sometimes very questionable posts. I really put almost zero thought into anything that person says, since it never adds any value to the discussions. He exemplifies the rage otaku culture, which I find very distasteful. So yeah, it's best to ignore people like him. (Edit: Oops, I was thinking of someone else. Well, at least he is someone new, so he will eventually calm down, hopefully)

And yes, it is best not to talk about the manga until the series is over. The main problem with talking about the manga is that although one person might be careful, it encourages others to talk about the manga as well, and those people might not be as careful.

Well, about Boku Dake I suppose we are not few, but as usual who is upset is more vocal. I suppose people focused on the mystery bits because the show did great even in taht. So they overlooked other aspects that probably are a bit more subtle in comparison.
Still the reaction I saw seems exaggerate.

I haven't had much time lately for one-on-one interaction with other anime fans due to my mom recently suffering a nasty physical ailment that's left her almost bed-ridden. I've been spending a fair bit of time lately taking care of her. I still have time to watch a little anime and comment on Boku Dake, but not as much time for chatting and wall messages.

But I just wanted to leave this here so you know I appreciate the support on Boku Dake. Also, I am surprised, in a bad way, at the overall response Boku Dake's latest episode has received. The teacher ending up being the culprit should have been obvious after the big candy reveal (lol), not to mention all the other hints. Given that the identity of the culprit wasn't in much doubt after Episode 9, I figured that people would care more about the overall emotional poignancy of Episode 10, which I felt was very strong.

Ah well, I strongly disagreed with ANN on Nanoha and UBW as well.

Well, Muv-Luv is a franchise based on a harem VN (albeit an excellent one), so it tends to attract that "shipping" type of crowd which I usually don't like to mix with anyway. Schwarzesmarken isn't actually a harem which is somewhat refreshing.

Haha, looks like you might have gotten the names Nadja and Nadia mixed up. It's actually Ashita no Nadja (Tomorrow's Nadja) that I got Flower to watch.

I do plan to watch Fushigi no Umi no Nadia someday though, and yes I've heard about the bad outsourced episodes and will skip the ones that were recommended to be skipped when I do pick it up.
