I'm not too surprised they cancelled it. Gintama isn't the kind of manga suited to a western audience.

Amanchu is indeed incredible. If this keeps up, I'll end up loving it even more than Aria. There is such a wonderful atmsphere.

But for the life of me, I haven't a clue as to who he or she is and what he or she is supposed to represent character-wise. (For an example, see the [C] thread.)

It's funny though that Viz's Gintama translation, while a bit... Inconsistent (as in, sometimes they didn't localize it and put Japanese wordings), it still is something that I considered to be well done localization. ^~^/ I offer my hat to the translator~
