Regarding Nura manga, i'm glad that the anime featured his mother a lot more. Her first appearance is in chapter 21.
Same goes for Gyuuki as well. -

I think it was for the best that the anime skipped the beginning chapter when Rikuo is younger, compared to a lot of people in the thread saying it should happened. There's just more balance now that the story starts when he's 13. & i'm sure we'll get some kind of flashback to it soon.
I wanted to start the manga a while back, though wanted to wait for the anime to air so i can decide what to do. -
