I was extremely surprised that some of them didn't die, but we'll see what happens next episode though I think most will be all right. Maybe they all end up happy while Lelouch and the others get bittersweet endings. Li will die eventually I am sure, but maybe not now. I am somewhat annoyed about Guildford if only because he showed up again without any explanation for what happened to him. And considering how well things have been going I would expect something to go bad.

I don't know if they were actually going to kiss each other to be honest, though the possibility is there with the way he said her name right there. I just am not sure how they really feel since even C.C. didn't seem to know if she loved him or not. Her Code is a problem though and I worry they may not be together in the end for whatever reason.
