Well, I suppose if you really have a problem with it, you could always try contacting another mod or one of the admins to explain the situation and see what they think of it. =O And maybe hopefully they'll see your side of things and say something to CrowKenobi.

I guess all I really feel the urge to say is, next time, don't take it so seriously, you know? You don't have to actually cite HF to explain or respond to the joke, you could just have a short one-line post or whatever to respond to it, and then move on.

I'm not meaning any offense here, I swear I'm not, but you do understand that at times the whole "Rin having a harem with Sakura included" is mainly a joke, right? It's not something you really need to debate or explain because we all know it would never really happen, or at least not happen in a way to make it Rin's harem. So there's no reason to really reply to it or try to explain it, because it's just a joke. It's not supposed to be taken seriously.

The problem is, you're thinking about it too broadly. It's not about the issue of spoiler tags, or even the overall story of FSN. The thread was opened specifically for discussion of the movie, which was based off UBW, so it would follow that the only "on topic" conversations would be focused on UBW and nothing else, because for the sake of the movie, the story is separated. HF spoilers have little to do with what happens in UBW.

I can sympathize, but at the same time, did you honestly expect any differently? You were posting about something off-topic from UBW in a UBW Movie thread. Sooner or later someone was going to come down about it.

And, well, I can kind of understand why he said what he said. The UBW movie thread is for discussion of UBW, not HF. So it would make sense to not have spoilers of HF in a thread specifically about UBW, even with the spoiler tags. It could be considered off topic from the conversation, unless the movie suddenly changes from being about UBW to being about HF.

You know, it's somewhat odd that the rules (or, rather, the version of the rules in CrowKenobi's head where, apparently, spoiler tags exist solely for decoration) claim that you're not allowed to post HF spoilers, such as the fact that Sakura is Rin's sister, in the UBW movie thread, even with a spoiler tag, but I see nothing in there that says anything about having spoilers in your avatar or user title....

Still, something has gone horribly wrong on multiple levels when two guys arguing on a forum display more tactical savvy than an ancient sorceress and her professional assassin boyfriend. If you're not 100% sure he's dead, one more shot to the head makes all the difference. Even I at least know that much, and I've never even killed a man, I just saw Zombieland.
