My semester is almost over. So I'll finally have the time to try and knock this little project out. But yeah, it's best you stay away from things that'll strain your eyes. It'll just be counter-productive to you getting better. What other manga did you order?

Even if it's tough for you, you should try and avoid stuff that'll strain your eyes too much. Like studying. If you have to wait awhile to get back to it, won't it be worth it for your eyes to get better?

Oh okay. I see. Man, all those surgeries must be tough on you financially and otherwise. Too bad that the recent surgery didn't fix the problem. Are you sure laser eye surgery can fix it? I wear contacts, so I actually want to get laser eye surgery so I don't have to deal with them and glasses anymore.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend from minitokyo.net passing away. It is kind of a scary thing. You just never know. But it's something that you can’t dwell on. Thinking about it won't really change anything. Not to say that you shouldn’t be conscious of your health, safety, and such.

Hey Nikorai, I'm glad to hear you're doing well and the surgery went well.

I'm slightly confused though about the surgery. I was kind of thinking that it was a surgery to improve your vision, but is that not the case? It sounds much more serious.

Thanks, after I finish a final paper today, then I should have a little more free time. My semester is almost over which makes me happy. Once I start getting some solid blocks of free time I'll get back with the translations. I'll go ahead and warn you now though, there's a high chance that I may not be able to help with the other videos. Since I don't want to cut out on you after I volunteered my help, I'll finish the main video (4th one) you want. But since there are other projects I want to work on, the other 3 videos I probably won't be able to help you with.

As for your question I'm not really sure. I'm no good when it comes to terms for languages. You'd have to give more examples for me to figure out what you're talking about. I don't know much about "wai". It could be a dialect thing or it could be just a made up speech thing. I'm not sure. あばよ isn't all that uncommon, but it's not really used all that often in normal speech. At least not in the Tokyo area. As sort of a humorous use, I think you can see a lot of bad guys using it when they try and make their getaway.
