Yo Ping, I read through js06's post on 4chan. Is his work with Heavy Object already finalized?

Have you read any of them? The two that I think I've heard/seen before are [说谎的男孩与坏掉的女孩] and [樱花庄的宠物女孩]. I could be wrong about the second one, but the first one I've definitely seen it being talked around here...

Top 20, and some of them are questionable...

You mean there's nothing else worth while on the charts already? What about those unnamed in the top 20-30 rankings of 2011?

A thought just occurred to me, on the topic of Kono Light Novel again...

...What are the chances of a new title, one that hasn't gotten a Anime adaptation yet, breaking into the top ten? As you know every title in 2011's ranking has an Anime, and those that didn't eventually did by the end of this year... What are the odds of another 3 Anime-less titles making it big in 2012?

Fair enough I see your point...

What about characters rankings? I never visit the Haruhi SF so I don't know how much her return would affect the character rankings. I can foresee Sena getting a higher ranking though, but it's also possible for Mikoto and Index to keep top three just from star power alone. Male character-wise, there's not alot of strong competition... I suppose maybe Kyon or Toori?

    Illustration, I'll say Buriki (Haganai/Denpa) 1st, Hiro Kanzaki (OreImo) 2nd, Noizi Ito (Shana/Haruhi) 3rd.

Author, should be Kamachi again- I mean, this was really his year.

The novel will also be voted by critics and writers as well, and two other series like that, Zero no Tsukaima and Hidan no Aria didn't even make the top 20 last year.
True, but neither two had a ridiculous increase in LN sales, as well as a crazy bd/dvd sales.

Denpa Onna: I called it otome because of some idiot note by Aogami in Vol. 2, my bad...
Ahhh I thought so... But isn't the series over? Would people still be interested in it?

Horizon can still make it because it was fairly popular before it even got an anime.

Notable considerations: Spice and Wolf (Why...), Shana, Bungaku Shoujo, Kami-memo, Durarara.
What about the other big favorite, OreImo?

    1. Haruhi
    2. Haganai
    3. Index
    4. Sword Art Online
    5. Baka Test
    6. Seitokai
    7. Horizon
    8. Monogatari
    9. Ben-To
    10. Denpa Otome
Lol come on, you have to admit the possibility whether we like it or not, IS has become disgustingly popular that it might actually enter the top ten

    Denpa Otome... What is that?

As for Horizon... I think the Anime came a little too late to make a difference now...
