I'm not there right now, but I really love the weather, especially when it snows. And if you head outside the cities, the air is so fresh

But the last time I was there, the cost of living was rather high. Maybe it depends on the area, but stuff isn't exactly cheap over there.

Well there are a lot of things you could do instead of surfing... including what greeks might these days

Nah, it's not that bad, just don't try to socialize with peasants

Australia eh? nice, but would it be too cold for surfing?

... and be viewed as the "begging greek" and "stupid american" these are our countries' stereotypes there

UK is nice, if it wasn't for the extreme conservatism and above normal social hypocrisy

I'll be in France this summer, for 6 weeks, then I can tell you about them too, up until now except from 99.9% never using english, german, greek, or japanese, and being more dirty then Greece, I can not think of anything else bothersome actually I like it a lot there

I don't know first hand the situation in the states, but what I know is that unless a country is in war it can hardly be compared with how messed up the situation is now in Greece

I guess... I haven't been in Greece for about seven years, but now that people have no money, the only thing left to do is f*ck and get f*cked (both literally and metaphorically)

Oh, the USA? That's cool, sometimes I wish I was back there, it certainly is a land of opportunity
