I'm back home and back at work, but still don't have much free time. Tried to get one of my old computers to work well enough to connect to my HD TV. Ended up junking that computer and buying a Compaq at Wally's World. Cost me more than I planned since, after seeing it run high resolution videos that my main computer chocked on, I decided that I had to upgrade my system.
It is great being able to read the translated manga. There is so much more there than was in the summaries. And Lucy comes out looking better. I realy want to find out what Annah and the glasses guy talk about in the last chapter and what Nana says to her "Papa."
I think that the new age is still coming. I think that it was a lie about her father leaving her mother because Lucy had horns. Given the ending and the statement that all her mothers children were born diclonius, I think that she has at least two siblings who stayed with her father when her parents split. If the statement about her half brother being the only male diclonius is true then they would all be female, if not then she would have one or two older brothers. It would make things really interesting if, like the Queens in another story, True Female Diclonius were normally born as twins. I figure that it would be the height of irony, and in keeping with the story, if her father and siblings lived in a town not far from Kouta's home.
I am happy to be able to read the details as it draws toward it's end. I know generally what is going to happen from the summaries that were pasted before and the raws, including several characters that appeared to die, but appear in the last chapter. But, it is great to be able to read the dialog. It has changed the feeling of several chapters and made me feel even more sorry for Lucy and all the wasted potential.
