    How I end my posts is not fixed. It depends on the mood of the post and what sort of tone I want to send across to the reader. It could be snarky, it could be snide, it could even be mellow.

    I think it would be morbid (or at least awkward) if I end some of my more "serious" posts with "Cheers" as it would send mixed signals to the reader. The habit of annotating my posts with smilies and such came about because I tend to be pretty snarky at times, and without the benefit of body language, there is a tendency for some people to take it "too seriously".
