I think I was just more easily distracted during the "cult" story arc. The overall series has an atmosphere I like and wish we had more examples of.

Absolutely hilarious cartoon. Thanks for sharing!

I guess it's probably time for the city of Toronto to call-in the Ghostbusters, lol.

Speaking of political cartoons, I'm surprised nobody has done this yet...

Stephen Harper in a Calgary Flames uniform facing off at center ice against Mike Duffy in an Ottawa Senators uniform. A caption could read - "Harper: Flaming mad with the Senators!"

Yup, I discovered the Moon Phase - Bake connection during the first season and yes, it is infinitely just and righteous.

I have no idea what the young lady sounds like. I get the "chatty" feeling because she sent me about 15 messages in a quick string as thoughts ambled out of her head. Will let you know if some audio settles the matter at some point. I really find it hard to take my eyes off of that b&w twintail pic though. Sheesh.

Golden Time ... I'm having trouble staying interested in. It may not be the series fault it may just be that I'm otherwise focused. Is it a good idea to watch the first season of White Album? or can I watch WA2 and then go backwards for a prequel?

I may have to give White Album 1/2 a look-see.

The Polish model's hair isn't as long as I'd like, but it's wavy and black. But her eyes are large, she's pale and petite, has the bone structure.

I sent her some renditions from Rock Band and Skyrim and explained what I was looking for as well as pointed to the image I used of Elisanth. She's interested and is going to talk to her usual photographer about the idea.

She's new at her 'career' too. Her day job is hairstylist.

edit: she's extremely chatty ... like Tsika. Why does that amuse me?

edit: Dammit, it was a tactical error to have the two names Sasaki and Sashiko in one story - my fingers are constantly typing the wrong name. Just spotted a total derp where Sashiko is dragging Sashiko onto the train.

Oi oi oi. Don't take my blind dislike of Chinami so seriously. I was only doing it to tease/annoy you a little .

Ignore this Reckoner infidel. He's been slandering me everywhere!

Perhaps he thinks Chinami is an air headed moe blob, but that's definitely not the impression I've gotten from her so far. It's not like I'm in love with the character necessarily, but I don't see why he is revolted by it . I still laugh at how she rejected Mitsuo the other episode.

Golden Time is a good show. There are some aspects of it that can be a little frustrating, but I think there are a lot of aspects that come off as genuinely real compared to a lot of other anime. The college setting is not exploited enough in my opinion, however. Or maybe it's that high school kids never act like high school kids in anime. Hard to say.

I'm guessing that writers assuming that tea clubs never actually DO anything which gives a lot of time for hijinks and mayhem?

It certainly reduces the amount of animation specialty required for, say, a sports club or the research needed for a culture/theater/music club.

-- That's always kind of neat when a one-off thing (like IE-tan) takes off and is embraced by the actual company. I always wondered how the Toyota and Vocaloid temporary partnership happened.

Deep into volume two edits. I got delayed on the package transmittal (some household drama with #1 son getting sick). Will send it out Monday.

I found someone I'm talking to hoping she'd like to be a model for a cover of volume two or three -- looks scarily like Tsika. She's in Poland though and new at modeling. The model on my first volume I'm using as a Glycerin, Elisanth, is in Moldova but she's got her business shop down solid.

Obviously if you know anyone that could pass for Tsika and wants to model for a book cover, I'm all ears. Neophytes should work together.

Though, the bad Minami-ke season was Okawari (2nd season). 3rd season (Okaeri) was meh but it wasn't terrible by any means.

    1st season > 4th >> 3rd >> 2nd is how it goes.

Still missing a good moe show for the year aside from Minami-ke Tadaima. I had to rewatch Tari Tari for my fix.
