Why are you anticipating my rage for something you don't even know I'm going to rage about

    Ya ho ^^

WIth only Isuca and Go! Princess PreCure left I think pretty much all the new series of the season have strutted their stuff before us all.

    So? What do you think?

Yuuki Yuuna is still one of my five favorite anime shows of the year. While the ending wasn't quite what I had hoped, it was also a lot better than it could have been, and I'm largely content with it. On the whole, Yuuki Yuuna was a very pleasant surprise for me, probably the nicest surprise of the year (I expected to really like Love Live! Season 2, of course).

I might do up a list of my Top 10 Anime shows of 2014 over the next few days. I doubt I'll write up a long blog for it, but I'll probably write a paragraph or so on each of the 10 if I settle on 10.

    Merry Christmas, m0ef0xZer0!

I will always have a special place in my heart for Yuuki Yuuna's Itsuki thanks to you.

Although now I think I prefer her in orange and yellow instead of green.

I've also stalled some Fall 2014 shows, with my fanfic writing being a big part of the reason why.

Yuuki Yuuna, Sora no Method, WIXOSS, Shirabako, SAO II, and Psycho-Pass Season 2 are the Fall 2014 shows I'm caught up on and/or finished. Just on the basis of the first five of those six (PP S2 was a bit of a disappointment) it's been a very good-to-excellent Fall 2014 season, I think.

I might go back and marathon Amagi Brilliant Park, Trinity Seven, Fate/Stay Night 2014, etc... later on after Christmas.

Yeah, Carville is pretty far off.

I haven't seen a lot of Denis McDonough on TV, but I saw enough that I felt I could handle giving him a few lines in a fictional narrative.

Thanks for the C&C info! I really loved most of the C&C games I played. Some of the best video game characters of all time are in the C&C series, imo (Kane immediately comes to mind).

Had to change the fanfic plans up a bit due to what we discussed in PMs. Hope you don't mind.

I know you were focusing mostly on Yuuki Yuuna in your last VM to me, but it's a bit funny that you mentioned Unlimited Blade Works so highly, because I've actually fallen well behind on it and have lost some interest in it.

It's strange - There's no meaningful execution criticism I can make of it, I'm just not fully "feeling it", so to speak. Perhaps I'm just a little bit tired of Fate/Series-Verse in general. While there's a lot to like about this franchise and all of its prequels, sequels, and spinoffs, I also feel that if any anime/anime-related franchise has been overdone the last few years, it's this one.

There's something I find a bit worrisome about how Fate/Series just seems to keep on going with no end in sight, with even Prisma Illya slated to get a 3rd season sometime next year, IIRC. Probably the thing that worries me the most about the modern anime industry is its heavy reliance on sequels and spinoffs and continuations of already popular IPs.

I kinda like the way K-On! and Love Live! did it - Two seasons and a movie, that's it. A nice, solid run that you'll have fond memories of, but nothing that feels bloated.

All of the above being said, though, there's no major criticism I can make of the three or four episodes of UBW 2014 I've watched so far. It's executed very well. I just can't help but think that it would be nice if ufotable put that superb talent to use on something brand new.

In any event, I'm glad we're on the same page with respect to Yuuki Yuuna.
