I watched the first ep of Inari Konkon. It was vibrant and pleasant to watch though I'll have to see what direction it takes. Hopefully it won't just rely on the "sugary" cutesy nature but actually develops its premise nicely to back it up.

I didn't forget about what you ask, and thus far I can't find people who really checked that closely GT and OC.

However, a JP contact did confirm what I already suspected and researched: NagiAsu initial impressions were mixed mainly due to Hikari's initial personality and the dynamics between the kids being too obvious (as in, a chaotic romance train).
To supplement that, things are quite obvious when it picked interest of people if you look at that graph:
    http://yaraon-proxy2.yarareyaku.net/...try-21138.html
The ranking of Vol 2~5 literally skyrocketed within few hours on 10th january, due to ep14. As you can see, they were all stuck within 4 digits, then jumped to 3xx in the rankings.

Things went much better around the latter part of the first half and so on.
That said, as usually, a better midway/ending will not change the sales in a spectacular fashion if a lot of people dropped it from the get go. That said, it also shows that otaku does have a "wait and see attitude" without necessiraly forsaking something that doesn't match their expectations within 2 episodes.

In general, that proves you better wait for the last volume to be released before treating a series "selling well/bombing", considering the curve isn't always linear.

Not sure if I can have the same kind of data with OC and GT. That said, regarding GT, I did see a lot of complains regarding Koko which might lead to the same kind of response from the JP audience.

Might try Zakuro since I have no motivation to follow any series this season other than Space Dandy, Wake up Girls (more for the rage and lulz than the show itself) and Nagi no Asu Kara (which is a carryover).

Haven't been liking Golden Time's direction lately and I don't watch long running shonens so Hunter x Hunter is out of the question despite its stellar reception. Uchuu Kyoudai I might marathon at some point but not in the mood currently and Kill la Kill is just toilet humour mediocrity.

STILL HAVENT FOUND THAT HEARTWARMING, GOOD FEELING MOE/CHARACTER DRAMA SERIES SINCE TARI TARI WHICH WAS SUMMER 2012. Minami-ke was a comedy so that doesn't count.

Edit: Might try Gigintsune since I remember Enzo raving about it on his blog.

Is she a fan of K-pop? If she is, then popstar as that's what it's influenced by. Otherwise default Ahri.

Firefox is the best though but too bad its banned ...

Talking about ahri, she got nerfed quite hard 2 patches ago because she had a near 100% first pick or ban champion in professional games. Now she's hardly played.

    GG balancing.

It can happen. Jessica Nigri definitely spices up anything she goes to. But behind the scenes and at afterparties, her brother James does it even more.

Thought this might be relevant to your interests.

The person behind Spice and Wolf had managed to get a game related to it - World End Economica - to be on the Greenlight section of Steam. If enough people support it, the game will be made available on Steam in 3 installments.

    Proof

Tell anyone you think would want to know to help make this happen.

But I know what you mean. I too liked the characters in Uchouten more, though for me my favourite characters are Yasaburo and the Ebisuwaga Brothers. Hilarious idiots the latter two were.

Heathen! Why you no appreciate artistic anime!

I'm surprised you liked Uchouten Kazoku in that case. The two shows had the same experimental and artistic vibe except Uchoten was more subdued and relaxed and Kyousogiga was more eccentric and zany. What made me choose Kyousogiga ever so slightly over Uchoten was its consistency. Kyousogiga was fantastic from start to finish. Uchoten had somewhat of a slow start and the final episode... pretty much told you to read the book .
