Hey Nikorai.
That's a good find there, for every point that you mentioned. (Potential translators, an audience, and moral support)
This new video you put up is which one? The 40 min show with the voice actors (the 4th one)? Cause I already downloaded that one and I'm wondering if I should download it again. Oh and do you think it's worth translating the 3rd video, the song one? It looked like it was only 20-30 seconds and then they switched songs. Kind of annoying.
How much are they asking for? And I'd say it'd be best for you to stick it out cause you should be able to find some people to help you. In fact, if I can get my school work done and still have some spare time, I'll start working on it this Friday/weekend.

Hi nikorai! Long time no see!
What you like to chat on messenger please? as long as you're free i mean i'd really like to chat with you.

Hey Nikorai, sorry for the late reply.
You speak Russian too though right? And as for the translation project, I'll try and take a look at it sometime this week. Hopefully you can get some people from the Japanese Thread to help you out. Whether you do or don't though, I'll still try and see what I can do to help you out.

Hey nikorai. Wait, you understand Chinese too? How many languages do you know? Don't worry about it. It helps me out too.
Yeah when it comes to studying it yourself, a lot of the stuff you learn is when you make a mistake. But if you don't have a way of knowing whether it's mistake or not, like someone to tell you, than it's pretty difficult.
Haha, yeah ok, so 50% would be the average. But I still don't see how you can watch something and not understand anything. Certain words and phrases are used all the time, so you would be able to pick those up.
"I know that 'ii' generally goes pretty well with -ba/-tara and 'hoshi' with verbs in 'te' form." You said it right here.
Are you the only one working on this project? And do you know if anyone else is trying to work on it? I know you mentioned that someone did the first half last year. I'll be able to help out a little bit when I have time, but I can't promise that that'll be very much. Is that 40 min one an interview or something?
Yeah I know what you mean about the money. But it would feel kind of wrong. If it was for something for your private use, then maybe I wouldn't be against it. I don't know, it kind of goes along with the whole fansubbing not being for money thing.

Actually I'll go ahead and reply to this now. But it'll be in English cause this comp doesn't have Japanese. Sorry it took awhile to get back to this.
Oh, I guess I didn't notice that you didn't have an avatar to start with. I thought I remembered seeing something, but I guess it was just a question mark.
The beach huh. That should be nice. I haven't been to a beach in a while. If I get to go to Japan this summer, I'll have to make sure I go. Your Japanese is plenty good enough to go to Japan. People who don't even know any Japanese go there all the time. Money would be a problem though.
行ってない=言ってない, haha, yeah sorry about that. I can't believe I didn't catch that when I looked it over before posting. What I was trying to say was, that I'm not saying that it's better that you don't go. (Japanese loves negatives) Check it out if you get the opportunity, but if you're looking forward to going there as much as I was, you may be disappointed.
Ok, how about an average? It can't really range from 0% to 100%. Like for me it's in the 90s range. Depending on the difficulty it'll be higher or lower, but the average is about 95.
I don't know what you're talking about here.
Just some Japanese corrections. もっといい運命になってよい - you can't really use "yoi" at the end of that. Going along with how that sentence is set up, using "hoshii" would probably work best. If you wanted to use "yoi" or "ii" you'd have to change the sentence up a bit. And then, 手伝ってもらわない - this one kind of has a rule where you always use the kanou-kei. Damn, I forgot what it's called in English. The possibility tense, the え tense in most verbs. So it would be moraenai, instead of morawanai.
And then onto the main part. Hmm...you want me to help with translations. Unfortunately I don't think I'll have much time to help you with this, but I'll check it out and see what I can do. If I do it I won't accept any money as it would be kind of illegal since this isn't yours. Are these videos from the game or something though? Cause when I looked up the OVA it said it was one 17 min video.
And sorry to hear about your internet. Hopefully they get it fixed soon.
