Thanks a lot for the tips. Although i'm exploiting another concepts that aren't touched in the series, But...I think i'm keeping 'that' boundary line. But anyways, the others will have the last word.
About your experience with the Nanoha OC, do you guys had a chance (or a way )of OC interaction?

No thanks. Like I said, I'd like to be able to keep going "Oh wow, it's snowing!" and it actually being special.

No, you must come to the US and see all the snow! *Looks at the 5-foot-tall snow bank.

Hmmm, well the most important thing for me is to think within the boundaries of the series. Don't simply copy something awesome from your head to paper one-on-one, but think how this would work in the To Aruverse and give it a limit suitable for your character, yet in line with the series.

For example, I wanted Keroko to have lightning powers, but I also wanted her to be a hand-to-hand fighter. So I started thinking 'how do I make this work in the To Aruverse?'

I remembered how Mikoto linked her brain to the doc's in the manga, and I figured 'hey, that's right, the body and brain are controlled by electrical pulses, so if I let Keroko control those pulses, I can make her a deadly melee fighter.' Having the base of the power, I then set out to limit it. Since there is a set number of Level 4 users, that automatically means she can't be one of them, so Level 4 it is.

The same thing goes for the background: Think within the boundaries of the series. Don't suddenly make a background that clashes with what we know in the series, think what would fit.

Ahaha, well most of us already have been doing things like this for several years in the Nanoha OC thread, so we're used to it. For me, it's even a hobby, so I'm even more familiar with the do's and don'ts of character building.

During my landing of concepts of my ToAru OC, i'm realizing that your character (along with others) fits very well to the setting than mine u3u

...Come to North Dakota next winter. You'll see so much snow that you get SICK of it!

And here I am, happy that my place finally had a lot of snow. I hadn't seen this much snow in my life.
