Oh darling, it was grande. You won't believe what the mistress said. I asked "two sugars?" and she said "just one, if you'd please!". You should have been there, it was fabulous.

I like to think I'm considerate when I can be.

No way! Butter tarts and pop-cubes slathered in diabetes cells. I like to skip the middleman.

It's kind of a "so grotesque in nature that you need to see it again for fascination" series for me. I did love the openings for the different seasons. And why yes, I was in a McDonald's the other day when I saw the two good men. That story wasn't even a fictional tale, I'll have you know!

Might have been a mix of both, I recall not being a fan of how it looked either, though it wasn't bad. That is one heck of a title; I still can't fully remember AnoHana's off the top of my head; now I get another one to confuse me!

Yeah, it's a mix of static and dynamic that actually works quite well. There's a fantastic episode (I believe...second to last?) where the entire episode is bittersweet. I kinda got stuck in a writing fix and haven't been able to dive back into other series I've been watching recently, so I'm actually still working on Season 1. ^^; I really do need to get into Season 2 quite soon, so I'll be getting back to it for sure.

P.S. SakuHima are back at it. Character songs. HIMAWARI'S B-SIDE TRACK. NOW.

Ah yes, I recall bringing Ouran High School Club to my last aristocrat get-together. We all sipped tea and expressed laughter by nestling our hands on our chins.

Yeah, I was gonna give you the special treatment. Y'know, the one where you're sliced up so many times the police can't even identify you anymore?

Eh, I'll write it in the schedule. Some of my eating habits as of late might as well be considered self-mutilation anyways.

Oh, I don't really mind the animation, I just meant they take on some very odd styles as a company. I actually don't mind Higurashi either; it's something I know makes me feel uneasy just thinking about it, so it must be doing something right.

Everything starts with a good director. With a resume like that, he'll definitely get into McDonald's this year! They'll only hire Ishihara or Shinbou for the job, so they'll have to duke it out in the restaurant...with their productions. Something tells me it'll all depend on what the judge prefers.

Yeah, I tried once and just couldn't get into it at all. Can't actually recall why, but it didn't quite sit right with me. I've heard of Munto TV but haven't actually looked into it.

I felt it deserved it with its fantastic animation, good character interactions and overall solid direction. It's a series that never goes over the top, because it just doesn't have to. It throws you for a few loops and tosses you back down, so it's a fluctuating experience that does leave you wanting more. Chitanda WAS one of my favourites for a while, but remind me to ask again when you're finished. The things that make Chitanda fun? They're kinda all of her traits out front. Unlike her my favourite was Mayaka, who seemed to change quite a bit over the series. But hey, that's really just me, so I'd like to know once you're there. :3

Stiiiiiiiill going too! We'd have to regroup every Saturday until the show ended for us to carry out this last deed on Earth. You'd get to live longer though! A LOT LONGER.

Why, I don't know what you're talking about! *slowly sharpens katana* What's that? No more taunting? Damn, I thought I'd finally get to use this thing.

Gah, there goes my religion. You're a true sadist though, y'know that.

Oh god, Studio Deen is a strange company indeed. To be fair, KyoAni doesn't exactly have a TON of series under its belt, but with what it's done so far I agree it's been quite consistent. I think Full Metal Panic was the only one I never really got into. I was actually going to mention SHAFT because I like quite a few series done by them, but I wasn't really sure just what else they did. You're the mother of SHAFT fans now!

It's still very good at all times for sure; it scored 9/10 on my list, which is pretty damn impressive. It's never a "get crazy about" show, but it's one you always feel like putting aside time to watch. I'm interested though, who is your favourite character thus far? (Oh, and if it's Oreki, who's your second favourite, because most people go with Oreki)

Meh, close enough. We could play out the script to every Doctor Who episode ever made too.

She's also insanely knowledgeable; kids these days learn so fast. I'll pretend I didn't hear that Yui remark. :3

We're talking "Da Vinci Code" Opus Dei levels, or "tied to the mast and whipped" levels? Either way's whatever.

True, but I think that could be said for any company really. Some do more consistent successes than others, but not by too much, if I recall correctly. Overall I think it's being blown way out of proportion, this JC Staff hatred.

Hyouka's fantastic, I loved it. Like I said, it hits its peak around that arc, then kinda slowly goes down (but not by much). It does hit strides as well, but it's all fantastic overall.

Not yet. You must now consume the souls of fourteen wealthy families, and then regurgitate their wealth onto one poor family, effectively creating another wealthy family in the process.

Very cute family, if I recall correctly. How are their daughters doing? I remember them being really adorable. :3

    Sowwy, I din' mean it.

Yeah, some of the best stuff come from them. Not the absolute best in animation, but they do alright. It'll be alright.

Let it be known that on September 23 of 2012 is a day of remembrance, when the hero Echoes saved the world with his revolutionary movement to bring mindless entertainment and literature together. Ergo, this act shall be labelled as "hickory-nuckoms" from this day henceforth. We salute you, magnificent sir.

Yeah, forget 'em. Now how 'bout that Funami family.

I thought you already had previous experience with it. Oh wait, maybe THAT'S why you don't like it.

Yeah, Air is nice, it just has to face against everything else KEY makes, which is fantastic. The movie even worked on the series a little bit and gave it a nicer look. I have a feeling that unless JC Staff manages to completely screw it over (which I don't think will happen, despite everyone's baseless concerns), you'll love Little Busters.

When you've got a name for it, give us a shout so we can archive in the history books.

Yes, let's keep the ridiculous claims of the existence of another Akaza girl to a mininum; Akane's probably lonely enough already.

Not just parents, have you noticed the scientists are overprotective too? Your contract grants you diplomatic immunity over any species and age. You crazy bastard.

I think it was because I was a tad disappointed with the series when I compared it to the other KEY works. I felt that since the series kind of has a short story and then a retelling through a different perspective, it worked better as a movie. That's just me though.

Well now, a day when literature meets mindless entertainment; who thought this would come in our lifetime?

Eh? I think it's time you laid off the midnight cocktails, Echoes-sempai.

Nah, you've always had those rights; always wondered why you never seemed to take advantage of them.

The Air movie was actually vastly superior to the anime, in my opinion. It looked quite a bit better as well (not saying the TV series looked bad, you know).

Ah, that makes sense. Still, it's good to have that many updates per day.

If only she had a younger sister who looked like her old self; looks like they'd get along quite well.

It'll need all of the four-leaf clovers in the world plus more to fix the art style, but one step at a time. :3

Wait until you get married; that's when clause 4 and 5 come into play. I'll let you look forward to those.

Yeah, it really only holds merit to those who start with it, so there's no reason to really drift from the KyoAni version if you saw it first.

Haha, I like the contrast between overly goofy and professional as well. 3-4 new commentaries a day is quite insane though.

I always thought those were pictures of herself as a child. She even made a pillow of herself to hug and "love"; a little too much self-love, if you will.

Yeah, I think it's fair that they should've put a little more into the PV; it's been ages since we saw the cast and all that. Here's to hoping it'll be fantastic.

There you go, there's that agreement pact kicking in! Y'know, that thing you signed way back without reading.

Yeah, Kanon's biased for me too, as it's the first anime I ever watched. I've probably mentioned this, but I'm one of the few people who actually prefer the 2002 version of the 2006 version. Clannad's undoubtedly one of the best stories out there, both on paper and in execution.
