Hey Triple R. Life has been pretty busy with my return to university, but I've also thankfully managed to find time for stuff like the recent Canadian Madoka movie airings.

In terms of anime recently, every season I tend to be able to find a solid selection of shows that I really enjoy greatly. For this recent season it was VividRed Operation and Sasami-san@Gambaranai (I'll pretty much always love SHAFT no matter what, lol, but recently Sasami-san has even formed up to be a pretty great yuri series). The recent 3 minute anime adaptations coming from Comic Earth Star Magazine series have also been surprisingly to my tastes, Teekyuu and Yama no Susume in particular. On top of that, a large part of my sustained enjoyment over seasons has been a number of longer running anime: I've really had a good time with Ginga e Kickoff and Hyouge Mono which are currently being subbed by Doremi, for example.

I still haven't looked into the upcoming Spring season though, with the final weeks of this semester coming up. I'm looking forward to the break afterwards, lol. How's it been going with you? I've noticed you in the VividRed Operation thread, any other series you've been enjoying or are looking forward to?

I think I should thank you! I really like what you did with fanfic or is it a VN?
I'm a bit excited as well about the upcoming third Madoka movie. I do wonder if it will be the end of Homura considering some of the questionable lines in the PV, though.

I'm pretty sure that story has a humongous amount of chapters by now.
I'm going to read it in the right order this time. I think I missed the fun when I binged it backward.

Thanks for dropping by. I'm mostly doing nature studies for my course. So, I haven't had much time to hang around in the forum.

At least, my sched for April is going to clear up. I'm planning to binge on all the anime I've missed. ^^

There are few things I feel the need to stand my ground on, but this is most certainly one of those things.

Well, I wouldn't stay too long, it's been known to corrupt people with prolonged exposure. I must be immune.

Anyways, I was going to post this in the Movie thread, but there wouldn't be anyone to appreciate it, so I'll post it on your wall instead.

^And that my friend is how I know the movie portrayed their dynamic to the best of its abilities --given the reasonably small focus.

I'm not a big fan of debating, and I'm usually double, or triple teamed in the Nanoha subforum, so it's nice to have someone that actually agrees for a change.

I really don't get them sometimes.

Let's look at the 44 seconds that came before it. First, a brief and throwaway bit focusing on a DAB ship out in space, and Chrono and his girlfriend talking about Nanoha and Fate's reunion. You'd leave this in, but take out the actual reunion. I have to say, if your intention is to destroy NanoFate, I'm genuinely impressed at the pure evil genius of leaving this bit in given that you've just removed the NanoFate reunion itself. Talk about heart-wrenching tease! We have 2 minutes of lead-up to the reunion, and Chrono/his girlfriend talk about the reunion, but we don't show the actual reunion.
This almost made me spit out my drink on my computer screen. Well played.

Currently on episode 14 of Sword Art Online, and I must say that this is one of the most philosophically interesting, beautiful series that I can remember seeing. I thought it was wildly popular but then saw that it received some majorly lukewarm reviews on MyAnimeList (although I didn't read through them for fear of spoilers). I haven't seen Accel World yet, although the story concept of virtual reality and getting trapped in it isn't a new one to me... but I wonder if Accel World may have dulled some of the novelty of SAO to some people.

Have you seen the series? What did you think of it?
