Madoka is 150 - part of the reason I picked it as a cut off is because it seems to be a "go to" height for short characters. Fuko, Kei, and Azusa are all 150cm.

Sayaka is 163cm/5'4". Compared with a Japanese national average for 19 year old women of 158 cm.

Feyris is clearly much shorter than Mayuri in the OP even accounting for being farther into the distance in the "lineup" shot, though the cat ears make her look a bit taller than she is. She's drawn about Mayuri's height in many scenes though.

It makes me wonder if the maid cafe staffers at Cos and Effect 2011 used the OP and/or actually heigh "spec" as a reference for costume assignments, because the (proportional ) heights look surprisingly close to me:

    New PPPL post.

How many routes are left? It's hard to keep track.

I have a weird habit of memorizing the "official" heights of anime girls.

So here's a list of girls under 150cm (about 4'11) in a few shows:
    K-On!: None
    EF: None
    Madoka Magica: None
All Key anime adaptations: Kud (145cm)
    Tari Tari: Konatsu (149cm)
Mashiro-iro Symphony: Sana (148 cm), Miu (146 cm)
    Hanasaku Iroha: Ohana (147cm)
    Steins;Gate: Feyris (143cm)

Is it just me, or did some of those really not come across in the anime?

    (edit: added Tari Tari, Madoka)

And while I largely enjoyed Rinne no Lagrange and Another, it's still interesting to see how often they've come up in this thread.
Did you not finish the 2nd cour of it?; just kinda of curious. Cause the series to me had the potential to do a much better, interesting, less rushed, and more original ending rather than what we got, which I feel was possible due to it being planned for 3-4 cours, but the 1st cour didn't sell well enough for this to work, so a rushed ending was created.

Question: what do you think the odds are that a cosplayer cosplaying as Eru in the second Hyouka ED would be mistaken as cosplaying Sherlock Holmes... as opposed to, you know, Chitanda Eru cosplaying as Sherlock Holmes?

    That's quite a nice find. I approve!

Thank you for the SayaKyou picture, though I did already have something "along those lines" in mind for my next sig.

Interestingly, that image appears to be part of the cover for a doujin book titled Mou Hitori no Tenkousei (Another Transfer Student).

P.S. Maybe you can try using a more general link or rehost next time instead of a direct URL to the image - I had to use the image's ID# at the end of the URL to access it because Gelbooru forbids image hotlinking.

You're trying to break me, aren't you. orz Seriously, though, the Evol ship war was ugly, and I really hope the SSY thread won't descend into that sort of hell.

Anyway, hmm, yes, that could work, but at the same time not really...
    Spoiler for shipping woes?:

Thank you for your message. I certainly appreciate the enthusiasm and thoroughness of your arguments, even if we disagree on some things.

^^ Avatars lose their shine eventually, at first they make your posts seem more colorful or otherwise set the mood better, but they can get stale eventually (a point I thought the red-haired girl had started to reach... whoever she is ). I came across some Hyouka icons in my journey across the internet for a new avatar, and decided upon Chitanda because she's probably the most avataresque of the bunch, even if Oreki's my favorite character.

Also, I read the last few chapters of PPPL again and made a list of things to comment on. Next week: PPPL review, Thanksgiving Edition.
