Yo, Triple, long time no see.
    How do you do?

It's funny, because I was considering both of the shows you recommended, as I'm still looking for a lighthearted show to add to my roster for the season. Thanks for that, I shall be checking them out! The season is looking a bit sparse for me so far. In addition to the previous, I've picked up World Trigger, Shingeki no Bahamut and Akatsuki no Yona for now, out of a dire lack of things to watch.

Magic Kaito Only two episodes so far and my memory of the manga is fuzzy, so this is tentative, but let me make a bold statement: this is roughly what I expected out of SMC in terms of rebooting an established series. There is sufficient modernisation and tightening of the dated source material's weaknesses while retaining the charme of the original. It can be silly and whether that's a weakness or part of the appeal depends on the viewer. If you enjoy a bit of lighthearted school drama with a splash of mystery, romanticised crime and glamour, you might enjoy this. It definitely has an oldschool charme to it and I've enjoyed it so far.

Terraformars As someone who loves dystopian sci-fi, I, so far, really like this one. It's no Sidonia though: this world truly and utterly sucks. You don't want to live here. There's a fairly large and likeable cast with some interesting dynamics starting to show in what can only be described a pretty cold, harsh setting. The biggest downside is the excessive, mood-killing censorship here, rather than the gore, if you're squeamish, which isn't visible thanks to the former and the primary antagonist may not work for everyone. I suspect that similar to Sidonia, you will be inclined to draw some comparisons with others old sci-fi shows here.

I'd recommend giving both a try, as these are the type of shows that either work for you or they don't. They're not everyone's cup of tea, but they have their own rather distinct flavour- love it or hate it

Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso: Okay, you've already discovered this one for yourself. For me, this actually turned out to be a surprise: I expected it to be good, but based on past experience with Noitamina anime I didn't expect to like this nearly as much as I did, be it in terms of the characters and setup, the artwork, or even the humour (I know you're not fond of the slapstick, but I personally enjoyed the way the misunderstanding in the park got way out of hand).

Ore Twintail ni Narimasu: The other recent surprise hit for me. Guy with a massive twintails fetish is given the power to transform into Tail Red, - essentially a twintailed sentai heroine - in order to battle aliens who are trying to steal the twintails attribute from earthling girl. I don't expect everyone to appreciate the show's straight up "ham and cheese" approach, but I enjoyed it.

Grisaia no Kajitsu episode 2: I felt this show had dark horse potential from the opener - despite it not doing much aside from establishing some weird, over the top moe quirks for the girls, hinting the characters have dark and sinister histories and showing some fanservice. Well, it's only the second episode and I'm already seeing improvement. The girls are feeling less like collections of tropes and more like actual characters, and the plot intrigues me much more than either Ushinawareta or Daitoshokan's plots do. (Caveat: I have trouble taking Makina seriously as a romantic interest for the same reason I have trouble taking Ayu seriously as one - personality is wayyyyyyy too childish. At least so far.)

Not sure if you have the internet connection (or PC hardware, albeit it is a five year old game at this point), but just in case you need even more stuff to suck up your free time, EA is offering Dragon Age: Origins as a freebie via their Origin download service until the 14th. Thought I'd mention it as it's my favourite single player game of recent years.

Shirobako actually seems to be very amusing. Well, not in the Glasslip way. xD

So my Hong Kong friend keeps linking me Love Live fanart.

I never have any idea what's going on in it. But I guess you might understand what's going on in this one.

Good evening. Asking a little favor from friends who are Date a Live fans.
Ok, sorry I'm not sure which ones are DAL fans.. so I just sent this message to everyone.

Do you have some official art of Miku Izayoi? Espescially those that show the sides and back of her astral dress clearly. Thanks in advance.

Me and a cosplayer friend have asked a tailor to make a Miku costume - but we are currently in need of more pics, so that the tailor can make the costume more detailed and look like Miku.

That's one sexy new avatar. Hmm, but in response to your PM, you're actually watching almost all of the same shows that I am, running through your last few days of posts. I'm watching Amagi Brilliant Park, Sora no Method, Fate Stay Night, Grisaia no Kajitsu, Mashiwarete sdfghj;;;; (whatever the show's called where the childhood friend gets his by a car), selector spread WIXOSS, and Log Horizon II; Sailor Moon Crystal and Sword Art Online II are the carryovers.

So that leaves Sora no Method as perhaps the only title we don't have in common, which I'd recommend as worth checking out. Great opening song, very bright and colorful art style, seemingly very character-oriented with an emphasis on character drama. It's a warm little series, and I've little doubt that I'll end the Fall 2014 season with it as one of my favorites.
