So did you ever actually get around to watching Plastic Memories? Curious as I feel the show has showed a decent amount of episode to episode improvement so far.

Finally got around to seeing the first two episodes of Owari no Seraph. I'd skimmed a couple of your posts about it and the Yuuichirou/Eren comparison had me worried it was going to be all po-faced and brooding (which usually isn't my cup of tea) so I've been pleasantly surprised thus far.

Apologies for not replying sooner despite sending PMs about other things and commenting further in that thread.

Well - your thread was the only one in that sub-forum that held any interest for me, so, figured I might as well say something.

I have acquired new headphones as of a few days ago, so I plan to get back into watching anime again very soon, but at present, some IRL stuff is very time-consuming and watching anime newly under those circumstances isn't the best of ideas.

That said, I have gone back through a bit of Azumanga Daioh and Akagi to get me back in the right mindset.

Oh, I did not notice that the birthday greeting that you sent me is a cosplayer's pic.

    Nice Noe cosplay. Thanks! ^^

    Enjoyed True Tears last 2008.

I finally got around to remembering and checking out that Aki no Kanade movie that you and Pocari recommended to me. I posted some brief thoughts on it in the Anime Mirai 2015 discussion thread.

I've also started rewatching Frontier, since it's been a while and I want to have it fresh in my mind if you do end up watching it.

Haha yeah, I can't say I completely agreed with you either but you made a very good case that definitely made me understand your argument. Admittedly, I'm still very much on the "skeptical of free will" side but it's s complex issue that can't really be thought of as a dichotomy between these two viewpoints. I'm reading a really cool book about it right now called "The Myth of Choice" by Kent Greenfield.

What shows are you into this season, Triple R?

P.S. I really appreciated your most recent reply in the Madoka thread. You made a lot of the points I wanted to respond with (and some good ones I hadn't considered) and really articulated it a lot better than I could, especially the point about Gurobuchi doesn't tend to write narratives about ideal outcomes.

Thanks for the positive feedback! I'm glad you found my argument interesting. You're definitely one of my favorite users to argue with on this forum (remember the Wixoss thread during season 1? ) because you always have interesting ideas and support your arguments with evidence. I too am a skeptic of romantic love and I too was really obsessed with love back in the day but I guess I had a lot of experiences during my college years that dimmed my view of human nature.

This season...I think it would almost be easier to say what I'm not watching But I'm watching most of the big shows this season except for Euphonium and Gintama. Probably the show I"m enjoying the most so far is season 2 of Kinmoza which has amazingly been even better than the first season so far. Studio Gokumi is just killing it lately.

Still got a couple days to go, but I wanted to say something quickly.

I know you haven't really been that into Unlimited Blade Works, but I saw the episode that'll be airing later this week at Sakuracon and it affected me far more than most anime have the past year or two.

(Also, since I have been trying to catch the occasional spring premiere during meal breaks, I'm going to flag Plastic Memories and Great Teacher Otaku-zuka - I mean, Denpa Kyoushi - as shows that strike me as potentially interesting based on their openers.)

(Edit: also wonder if I dare admit enjoying the opener of "Is it okay to try and pick up girls in a dungeon" as much as I did.)

    Oh, Asuna-chan's secret father is:

Vegeta, Prince and Sovereign Heir to (what remains of) the Saiyajin nation.

On a side note, its SO refreshing to see a redheaded girl (namely, Asuna-chan's First Avatar and Real-Life Form) in Anime who is sensitive, soft hearted and kind to children rather than yet another selfish bad-tempered and emotionally insincere tyrant, isn't it?

It's not tenacity, it's just being stubborn. I guess I still have some growing up to do despite my age.
