I only took the monster route once, and I hated it, so I never touched it again. Of course the ORCA route's finale is touch too, I hate that 2 one 1 shit.

But, that's the whole basis of the game's story. What's not to like? Personally, I loved going the ORCA route. Those people know how to start shit.

Well, when I give the description history of the MS it's all fanfiction, guess I'm doing some writing after all.

What makes ya think it'd never happen? The HRL had to of thought about redoing the Tieren series sooner or later.

Hmm, I don't recall any flareups of that nature, but I've only been a part of the board for a little over a year now. The only advice I can give is to plow ahead and deal with it when it happens. Take the attitude of "I think this is the way to go, but let's try to listen honestly to what others have to say." Try to avoid an outright conflict when you respond to someone, coaching your language in terms of trying to understand where they are coming from. When someone comments, it's usually because they care (although there are a subset that just like to pretend to be a "critic" and troll more successful fics by finding any fault they can).

But I'm curious as to what happened with the clusterfuck you speak of?

Well, that's the reason for writing. I didn't have them right when I started, but much like learning the details, writing a character helps you figure them out. You improve as you go. And also some can be subjective. Heh, remember my whole Ix/Vivio/Ein flap? I still share some reservations about the situation, based on what some have said. But others said what I had worked fine. So what can you do?

The "right" way to write a character can be up to personal interpretation; especially when there are several ways you can go.

Ah... yeah. That, that's... yeah. That's hard the first time around.

I know it's not exactly the same thing, but when my grandfather passed away and the pain was still fresh for us, I couldn't watch some of our old family tapes without bursting into tears, because he was in so many of them. All I can really say is it gets better with time. A little less painful, a little sweeter, eventually. You just need that time.
