Spying on your conversation. I hate the PS2's controller layouts for games. They're the worst for shooters especially. I only got one for GTA and .hack.

Anywho, if you want to talk about Pokemon then I guess I have to say my first was Dragon Ball, then Pokemon. I never really considered them anime. I guess because they were so mainstream. Like 100x more than even Naruto in the U.S.

    I'm high on caffeine. *shakes*

Bleach was my second anime so it'll always a place in my heart. Inuyasha was actually my first. lol =)

I wanted to start One Piece, but it's way too freaking long. It's almost twice as long as Inuyasha's anime (and it's still going! GEEZE!). And Inuyasha's manga and anime sucked so since then I've decided to not watch shows that last forever so I won't waste over 100 hours for naught. I like the character designs for One Piece though and the fact that they update bounties regularly.

There's no way I could have made it through 41 episodes. I didn't even attempt Naruto Shippudden. Spelling? I don't care enough to look it up.

lol YES! You're my new hero. I did the exact same thing. I thought there had to be some reason it's so popular. Naruto's voice broke my brain. I gave it two episodes before I dropped it, but I thought that I should at least give it a chance.

I'd totally fit in that club.

You definitely need to check FMP! out. It's one of those shows you have to give a chance. It's a classic in a way. Every anime fan should at least try it. Aria is about gondoliers. lol Except it's not actually always about them on gondolas. It's episodic, slow, and it's one of those shows you just feel good about after watching. There's drama maybe once every few episodes, but nothing too strong.

I actually want to watch that too. I've been debating mainly because I'm not a big fan of genderbender anime. Every couple weeks I keep looking at it saying "I kind of want to watch this. Nahhh... Maybe?"

Toradora! is too simple. It gets better (the manga is good from the start), but it's a pretty generic romantic comedy with a loli paingiver (Rei Kugiyama go figure).

I'm glad that you share my sentiment that this anime season sucks. Have you tried Full Metal Panic! or Aria? Full Metal Panic! is pretty solid in comedy, action, and romance. It's got my trio of goodness. It used to be my favorite show for quite some time. I'm not sure if Aria is your cup of tea, but since you liked S&W I take it you don't mind a slow paced show. Aria is like Spice and Wolf, but on a slow scale it makes Spice and Wolf look like Claymore. It's one of those shows you maybe watch an episode or two before bed just because it's relaxing, the images are beautiful, and nothing really bad ever happens. It's a nice escape from the world-wide economic collapse and death that occurs daily.

I wrote another long winded post because I too, have little to no life.
