Haruna was never interesting and if you follow the manga Momo >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Lala

Honestly for a long time now I've been hoping California would just break off the continent and sink into the ocean. I hate it here. I've lived here all my life but it's preventing me from actually HAVING a life now.

Less dead for me and more everything else needing to get done. All the fires in northern California aren't helping, my house is between both the Ponderosa and the Big Bend fires. Add in work, writing needing to be done, etc...

Okay, I think you've misunderstood something.

I still enjoy the hobby. In fact lately, more than I have in a long time. What I haven't been enjoying is online discussion or some forms of group discussion. And frankly, within my local circle, it's become worse in that aspect too. There aren't many people I can talk to honestly about anime, but more important, non-anime topics. Last night a decade-long friend and I chatted for hours. We talked about Marimite, Gunbuster, the (fail) Olympics coverage, the Muppets, the Wombles, 80s/90s movies, actors who were kids in the 80s and now adults, pub rock music, free-to-air TV stupidity, that fandom behaviours weren't that different in the 80s to how they are now but that narcissism and positivism are more rife currently. And that is the kind of conversation I wanted to have. We could talk about almost anything, we didnt have to agree on everything and we had fun. Versus the adversarial of online discussions on forums, FB and Twitter. I'm not in this to only talk about visual arts or moe or sales or to see people constantly vent.

Curious as to what you mean by 'it will be better for all of us'

I'm enjoying this hobby. I'm just not going to let modernists, positivists or visual arts elitists ruin it for me. My door is open in general but to those that close their minds before they even reach for the handle, don't even bother.

I may have a limited number of people I converse about any with anymore. But I'd rather be alone in this fandom than feel lonely when I'm surrounded by people I can't relate to at all.

Well, yeah, basically what keeps me attached to the franchise re the memories of the good old times back when characters had an actual impact on the plot. Aside of my heavy fanboyism i find FORCE not that bad of an a story, but it's execution is pretty dull so far. Things with the potential to generate interesting changes happen but nothig comes out of those, Tsuzuki tries to test something new but at the same time it feels as if he's too afraid to abandon the status quo completely and we have a half-hearted story as a result.

I like some characters in FORCE (i even started to grow a likeness to Curren Huckebein because of my need of finding a badass fighter T-T) but the story is unjust to them, the old cast suffer heavily of underreaction to problems (which was always a problem in the franchise but not as notorious in the past, Nanoha is usually the only one notoriously unaffected by hardships in her career) and the new cast hasn't had a chance to have decent developement yet (the only developement the Huckebein has suffered is the result of circunstances surrounding then instead of a product of their actions).

As for BlazBlue is a pretty kickass fighting game from the creators of Guilty Gear with a pretty cool (yet complicated) story, lots of anime-like characters and one of the most depicable villains ever (he's even more of an asshole that all of the Huckebein combined xDU). If you ever have a chance to play it, give it a try, specially in PS3/XBOX 360.

I have the latest version with all the story and characters since a couple of months ago and i grow to love and hate certain characters xD

I'm have because a sequel has been announced for Winter xD

    LOL.

Animal Original and Yoshino on series composition. No way I'm touching this regardless of being A-1.
