Pack food for a couple of years. I had to skimp a little bit on the nuclear material, so the half-life will take a while.

Not too hard to fix. :P

If you're not even filming your movie in 3D and just adding the effects afterwards, it's all just smoke and mirrors. And even if you do film it in 3D, with the two cameras and everything, it's hardly worth the effort, and for me personally it's more of a deterrence than it is an enticement. I'd say I hope it goes away, but with the quality of current movies I honestly can't muster that much care either way.

They're looking nice, I especially like the last one. I'm sure they're going to turn out great, and I'd love to take another look at them when they're all done.

That's a lot of dedication, and a lot of money! But yeah, sounds like it's worth every penny. Handshake, huh... I was hoping you would rub your hand in melted chocolate and touch their faces, then press it against a piece of paper. That way I would get like an imprint that I could put on the wall. Coat both your hands in chocolate before you do it, since they'll probably increase security and there won't be a second chance.

Pressing the button? Being in the middle of the frame!? You might as well be talking Swahili, because this is just technobabble to my ears! That does sound like something even I could handle. It would be fun to try, even if you do find someone else in the meantime, I could be like a guest at some point. What would a serviceable camera like that cost, ballpark figure?

When it comes to my English, I'm far stronger when it comes to writing and understanding than I am speaking it. I'm not horrible at either, but I read and/or write English just about every day, but I very rarely get a chance to actually speak it... mostly just if I run into tourists or missionaries. :P

That works for me. It's a trusty method. No need to get frisky at this point.

That's a good option. Manga can move along a lot faster, and as your plan proves, it's more readily accessible when you're out and about.

Yeah... modern filmmaking is just.. wow. I saw that they're playing Titanic 3D now too. I guess it's a new thing to just release old movies in 3D now? The trends for the last decade in horror movies has been remakes, remakes, remakes. No originality... and now we're taking a step down from even that and just releasing the same movie with some psuedo-3D effects added in post? What a joke.

Oh, neat. Glad to hear it's moving along nicely. Make sure those characters so shiny and colorful that a prismatic spray will look gray in comparison. (Nerdy reference there...)

It's her American debut too, huh? That ups the ante. That's quite a list, man... We might have socialized healthcare and one of the lowest crimerates in the world... but with guests like that, America might just be the better place to live. :P I've been loving Kitamura Eri lately (she's a blast in Street Fighter IV, pretty much the only reason I still play it.. :P), but there's not a name on that list that isn't worth seeing, that's for damn sure. Is it going to cost you a pretty penny to get down there? I'm sure it's worth it and will be a nice enough memory to justify it regardless, though. Oh, and if you do meet any of these wonderful ladies (also, Norio Wakamoto) be sure to touch them for me.

Oh, that's a nice thought. I'd definitely consider it, though I don't have a camera at the moment, and I don't know jack about handling one, nor how hard that would be for something like this. I'd have no problem appearing on camera with you in theory, in fact, it sounds like it would be a lot of fun and a great challenge. But man, you're a sociable guy, you can easily find someone, be it IRL or online, that would be up for the task, I'm sure of it. Someone with a more comprehensive command of the English language than me would likely make for more compelling viewing also.

Awesome. That gives me a lot more wiggle-room.

I suppose it does. It was fantastically entertaining regardless.

Thanks. I agree that it is a little sad to see him continue his reign of destruction, even when it's something I don't care too much about.

Couldn't agree more. Love those colors, love that show. Dangle some colorful keys in front of my face and I'm 80% there already.

Oh, that's cool. Will it be your first anime convention? That's a good choice for first guest, especially seeing how you liked Angel Beats so much. If Horie Yui or Hanazawa Kana does show up, I might just die from jealousy. >-< I live in a small country, so there's really only one anime-related convention going on here, and it's pretty much jam-packed with weeaboos, so not really an option for me.

I like that idea. It's something that is rarely done, and it instantly gives the viewer more to relate to with two different perspectives. It's a cool concept, you should definitely run with it. Maybe you'll make some friends at the convention you could do it with, if you're lucky.

For that wonderful pun, your race shall be spared.

I thought it was very well done plot-wise too. Maybe a little too much dollars/yellow scarves focus, though. But yes, that is nitpicking, and it's just because the side-cast is so marvelous that I sometimes pine for even more of them instead.

That's true. There's a tendency to conform, and that's pretty boring... you'll see that even counter-culture groups soon find themselves conforming to their own anti-conformism, so it's an endless cycle of boredom in that respect. I heard about that turtles-aliens thing. Though I don't care about the Turtles, it sounds pretty pointless and dumb. But that's his M.O.

Oh, that's awesome. You're picking up some good stuff lately! That was one of my favorites from last year, a lovely romantic and charming installment. I loved the colors too, and the character designs blew me away. I've seen a lot of character designs and anime over the years, so it usually takes a lot to impress me beyond just liking it, but this one was just splendid. I don't know about the errors, upon checking I'm pretty sure I watched the Oyatsu release.

Well, I don't want to toot my own horn too hard. It'll likely be two of the less numerous races... I might even have to settle for ethnicites instead.

Be sure to send them out to radical political parties in your region as well. Those guys know how to stage a lynching and/or protest!

I've heard a lot of people say that they focused on the wrong characters. I can sort of see what they're saying, but since the supporting cast was incredibly strong, it worked. The story was really tight as well, so I can't really find any reason to complain either.

Almost any theme can work if it's handled appropriately, after all. Quoting Izaya here.. "Human are so interesting!" It's true, it's true. You could probably live a thousand years and still find people who would surprise you. For better or worse, of course. But in fiction there's no chance of a lead pipe to the back of your neck. At least not with current technology. By the way, you'll be sorry you messed with Lucas when the pre-prequels hit the scene. I think he's doing a collaboration with Micheal Bay on those. Lots of explosions, racist stereotypes and 4th grade jokes; look forward to it!

Hey, sorry I haven't responded in a bit, was working on essays for college and getting ready for Anime Boston most of last week .

Hmmmm, I will have to give it a try or at least look it up then. I enjoy music games generally so I don't see why I wouldn't enjoy this one.

Seems like it, really works out that way. I have never watched that anime.

You got nostalgia and was all like I need to watch these guys again xD

We'll see. The day is still young on my side of the pond, so there might even be time to do a double whammy.

That's a side effect you'll just have to live with. Just be careful not to actually publish the libel. Just keep it in a stashed drawer/folder somewhere.

That's true. I've heard a lot of people complain about the latter half of the show declining rapidly in quality, but I didn't find that to be the case in any noteworthy way. Guess that bug came back to bite you (har-har) in the ass. Now you can't really choose, since you're compelled to write!

You'll find there's really a mixed bag of people among all age groups in the show. Kids, teens and adults all get a fair shake. There is that element to it, about growing more cynical, but it doesn't dominate the show. Taichi's parents are really hair-pullingly annoying, though. :P You're so mean to old Lucas. All he wants to do is be immensely famous and filthy rich at the expense of art, integrity and originality!

All for the glory of the empire. Let me see that salute, soldier.

That's a pretty good bug to have, all things considered. I guess it depends on what he's telling you to write. If it's eugenics propaganda, maybe not so much.

That does sounds like an anomaly, yeah. Then again, Hanazawa's character (Anri, was it?) isn't particularly interesting in that show until she gets her arc late in the series. And even then... Speaking of Hanazawa Kana characters, I saw the first episode of Saki. Pretty good stuff, if you haven't seen it yet. Though it does make me wish the second season followed the main cast too. Nodoko looked super-cute when she was younger.

I was unsure for a while about who I wanted to see more of, the younger or the older group. George Lucas is probably too busy talking to his life-sized Jar Jar Binks and Boba Fett dolls about future plans for the franchise to spy on us. Probably....

No dancing? What's next; no picking up suspicious slimy objects from the street or giving the homeless dental surgery without a license? Kids these days are so spoiled, what's this world coming to...

Aye, I reckon I am! I've been bitten by the rewatch bug lately... started watching a few episodes of Soul Eater again, and I think this is a dangerous and slippery slope..

Bad-ass moe. Rare, but observed and confirmed!

Awesome. Although I think it's a very consistent show, I also think that it trends towards improving as it goes along because of the character development and growing more attached to said characters. By the way, Star Wars will never die... sorry, but it's true. In 10 years it'll probably get re-released in 4D. With smello-vision and 900% more Jar Jar Binks.

We all gotta do our part. Don't make me turn you in.

I'd ask you what episode it was in, as I don't remember, but I'm probably better off not knowing so I got an excuse to rewatch Kannagi in its entirety in the near future.

Might just have to pick up a couple of volumes of that. I'll miss Sawashiro Miyuki's voice accompanying the headless rider, though.

Cool. I think Chihayafuru is an anime you can easily watch at a leisurely pace and still get a full viewing experience out of. It's more about the characters than the plot, and when you boot up the next episode, even if it's been a month since last, you'll slide right back into the thick of it. I actually saw Gametrailers' review of that Star Wars game... I don't need to see any more of Han Solo dancing or Christiana Aguilera (possible misspelling) remixes with Princess Leia lyrics. I just don't. I guess finding the good songs was a sort of karmic balancing act after the Star Wars ordeal?
