Well, Glasslip may have not been what you hoped it would be, but look on the bright side of things. At least it is a series you committed to follow this season.

In other news, Hanayamata is a good choice for moe, but have you tried Majimoji Rurumo yet?

    How about Babymetal music videos?

Be aware...the story is not a normal cgdct, it is a coming of age outright drama with a lot of focus on looking deeper into the characters resulting. And it does not let up...at least did not until the most recent ep. So if you are expecting fuzzy happy all the time you will be roundly disappointed.

Now I like cgdct series (again GochUsa, KinMosa are good recent examples), but I like the fact that this one was decided on as it sorta goes outside the box a bit and gives us some character depth. But I would not be surprised if it does not sell well because of that very fact.

I feel the animation to be quite rich and lavish at times, almost chokingly ethereal, even. Madhouse has done a very good job here, but I would be (happily, admittedly) surprised if it breaks even. GochUsa sold really, really well, and KinMosa was not far behind that, but...well, you get the idea of what I am musing over, I think.

But it is moe. And even though I like all the characters man; for me Naru is a walking moe shinigami at times.
