that function is kind of....annoying lol stupid fb like function. xD

You can't post pictures in this conversation area, but you can create albums and post images there. Unfortunately the limits are a bit strict: 600x600 and 90-some kb max. It's 60 images per album, but as far as I know you can make unlimited albums. Of course, I've seen your famous image posts before - you could probably fill two or three albums with one set of images rather easily.
