Gin's ability lets her snipe that accurately. She can't fly or dodge as well though, that's why she needs to keep the range.

NCCS is a special club, so you need to be really good to get in in the first place. That's why they are a notch above other students. Also, I've made Riz and Gin's ages 15 (1 year older), so they have had 4 years of pre-ISA training. They are trained as special ops for the matter; for me, that's the norm for state-sponsored IS pilots. I mention that Charles works with the French spec forces, and Cecily with the SAS. For the Foundation, they created a cross-school club specifically for training future spec ops, that's the starting point.

Them becoming idols is the journey, and that's my story. How to turn powerful warriors into adorable creatures. Because diplomacy only works when you have a nice smile while carrying a BIG stick. :p

Side note - You know, their relationship with guys are kinda ironic. Most of them fit the mold for being fighters or badasses yet they're pretty much reversed since they're support or intelligence instead of frontliners. Goes to show that the gender reversal can hit deeper than you think.

Basically, I felt that making Foundation students 1 year younger too risky, so I made them all one year older, because the education system is separated into 6-4-2 instead of 6-3-3 like Japan. So they have more experience and training time, and for ISpers enough to be h4xx.

Then I kept Karon at 13 because she skips 2 years, ie, she is smart. And a ditz. A typical anime smart ditz. :heh:

How much would it suck to be dead, then resurrected/cloned back to life then forced to fight without a reason, freedom, or choice in the matter? You try to run you are killed and in battle you may be killed. But the problem lies is when you're dead, you don't stay dead and get rezd/cloned again. So long as the ones who rez you can get a small sample of your DNA...

If we dismiss the "Genetic Memory" trope in the way, there's not much a problem at all, each clones are different person in practice.

Otherwise, quite a nightmare fuel. And that's a huge understatement.

@ Demi - There was a game like that about cyborgs who get killed in towers only to fight and get resurrected every time they die. They seemed to get flashes of dying now and again, but they keep on fighting.

@ Meistah - The girls seem to be naturals in their skills while the guys have to cram just to get to where they are. Maximillian probably read a load of books to get that smart and Peter probably practiced day in and out to get as good as fighting like that.

@ Demi - Just like the game. They're being watched for entertainment, but none of them know this. They literally don't do anything except fight till they die and repeat.

@eras: except they're being used to start a war without them knowing as they massacre thousands and render whatever they attack an inhospitable wasteland while any remaining survivors who survived the initial attack die of disease and radiation.

Again, just like the game. Why do you think people watch from screens and not from an audience? It's unclear what exactly the fighters and the player character are made off, but every one of them seem to fight without knowing why. Practically every mook and boss you kill is in the same position as you, your character just never questions it and keeps fighting.
