and the final mushroom was funny as hell.Im impressed that they didnt just cut/cencor it.Shame that Margret was naked in manga but not in anime :D

This episode is quite good. The anime creators have kept almost everything in the manga intact. Nice job! It's funny that the amazons never have seen a man and thinks that Luffy was a girl.


Well, still no Boa Hancock, but next time we can see and hear Boa Hancock. According Wikipedia Boa Hancock will be voiced by Sailor Moon's seiyu, Kotono Mitsuishi, who also voiced Misato Katsuragi from Neon Genesis Evangelion.

In my opinion Miki Itō was a good second choice as Boa Hancock's voice, since she did the voice of Android 18, Krillin's wife in DragonBall Z; Krillin is voiced by Luffy's seiyu, Mayumi Tanaka. That would be a nice match! Don't know how Miki Itō's voice sounds? She is the voice of Miyo Takano ("the nurse") in Higurashi no Naku Koro ni anime series.

problem with this is Luffy is made out of rubber so he won't die, they can't crush anything but instead he will reap the blissful benefits of the "torture":D

This episode was full of lulz. The last stretching mushroom topping it all. :D It amazes me how Luffy didn't wake up. :D

A normal guy would have woke up for luffy that must have been a pleasant sensation :D and he was to tired to wake up for it.Only thing I am surprised at is that it didn't stretch more lol.One of the most hilarious scenes I seen in awhile.

Speaking of Sanji, you got to wonder where he was sent. Hell, where did Kuma send everyone?

Well there was a quick mention in one chapter where everyone went, it seems the crews adventure is in the title page story Robin and Sanji have had one Frankt too iirc, i hope its shown in the anime Sanji's adventure is probably the funnist.

Hm, i am quite surprised actually.
Cause, the animation quality is not as high as it was like at Thriller Bark, Water7 or Ennies Lobby.

Or it is actually they have decided to change the style and make it more "cartoony".

But i am really eager to see the episodes of what happened exactly to the other SHs, because this is anime-only.
And so far "fillers" in OP were generally good to very good.

There are 2-4 teams making One piece episodes, each team making one episode at time so there are huge diffrences of quality on episodes.

One or two teams make absolutely horrible art that makes watcher sometimes even doubt is he watching right show.

Some teams make very nice looking episodes with nice art.

One of teams made Movie 6, some people absolutely love art style but I generally hate that teams work most, they make good combat animations but charecter and facial arts looks hideous.

Nami and Robin made by movie 6 team sometimes looks absolutely disgusting.

recent episode of 404 was such episode, while having good content and well made action scenes facial arts were just horribly bad.

But yeah I am not 100% sure but I think One piece episodes are being done by diffrent studio than back in Enies Lobby.

If you check youtube clips where Luffy fights Blueno (around ep 270) it looks very diffrent than current episodes. Quality have generally dropped alot in my opinion what is kind of a sad.

Yeah and the animation in episode 409 hasn't changed unfortunately.(since the last episode)

Man I've waited a long time to see that scene animated. To think Luffy of all people is the first man those women see. I can just see Sanji's RAGE face right now. But Luffy actually caring that his vest was all frilly and girly was also surprising, guess he does have some pride like that.
Next week, Boa Hancock.....fellow manga readers please say nothing about her no matter if you think its counts as a spoiler or not before then anime says it first.
