Yeah they're still planned. Few quotes from an old interview translated over on Visualnews:

- The new heroines Sasami and Kanata will not join the mini-games and their stories will be put into the game in a way that will not break the original storyline.
- Everybody was saying that the separate routes in Little Busters was pretty weak, so they plan to add one more emotional scenario in EX.

I'm guessing Saya is going to be that 'one more emotional scenario'. Especially with Maeda behind her (wasn't he supposed to be leaving? Not that I'm complaining. Quite the opposite :heh:) Also from the moonphase article: While she's your popular pretty girl (and a bit of an airhead) during the day, at night she's a girl with many mysteries who loiters around the school searching for a treasure hidden in it, and has to do battle with the 'Executive(s) of Darkness' who're guarding it.

Finally got started reading through, and all I can say is this game's got to be good for my health. It's very rare for a game to make me laugh so hard so often.

^ There are many scenes that it is hard to stay unaffected, true enough...
I do wonder what would it be like, a combo with Masato + Youhei from Clannad :heh:

I wish I had the free time to actualy finish the game...

Though I might just wait until Ecstasy comes out

Well they're already going to have to wrench in the eroscenes, what's a few more changes? And Sunohara would fit in with the Little Busters just fine I think :heh:

If you're that busy you might as well just wait. New music, new minigames, 3 new routes... No release date yet though :(

Thanks for the info. Valdra! I always wondered just how would Kanata and Sasami join the Little Busters and their games.

Looking forward to Saya's route! Her design reminds me of Yuki from Bra-Ban! which is a good thing 'cause I just love Yuki! Any idea who will be her VA?

No idea, nothing seems to have been said yet. Just that pic and summary, a couple of staff comments (nothing important, though Maeda says he struggled for a while trying to squeeze a new character in without affecting the Little Busters world too much.)

Indeed, they messed up the romaji. Furigana is intact however.

Now I see what the staff meant by 'trying to work out how to fit everything into 1 DVD' for the game's release. LOL...

It will be interesting to see the development of Tokido Saya, from now until the game's release and of course in-game itself.

The G's interview has been posted on 2ch at last. Decided to turn it into a rough bullet point list because it works better that way (and is easier on my brain at 3am) though there's a couple of things that seem to only make sense if you've played the game - so I've included the Japanese as well seen as the thread is bound to disappear. I'll look over it again tomorrow when my eyes aren't trying to close :heh:

Spoiler for Long, original Japanese interview:

- Komari's scenario will have some scenes that 'no one probably predicted', including possibly an unexpected side of her character. She'll be carefree as usual, however.
- Rin's scenario will stay about the same, and the eroscenes will be inserted in pretty much the expected places.
- Haruka's scenario will, if Riki 'desires' it, go into more detailed in a number of places relating to her thoughts and feelings, such as why she comes into his classroom.
- Yuiko's scenario will stay about the same too, though they'll add a few scenes with more feminine sides to her, along with 'lifting the veil on her ultimate weapon'.
- Kudo's scenario will have more on her home country and dreams, and further develop her personality with additional scenes.
- Mio's scenario will have a number of pretty new CGs. There'll also be more on the 'other' that people who've cleared her scenario will know about.
- Kanata will have a lot of CGs and facial expressions, also showing a side of her not in the all ages version. The main points of addition will be her 'marble and hair finisher' stories.
- There'll also be a side episode relating to her showing not just Kudo and Yuiko, but also the male characters and a popular male character from the 4komas.
- All of the characters will have new CGs.
- The new minigame will be in Saya's scenario.
- There will be touch ups and general improvements in the existing character scenarios as well, apart from the addition of the eroscenes. Especially changed will be Kudo's.
- Amongst the new BGMs will be themes for Sasami, Kanata and Saya, as well as new battle themes. They're also going to do a new vocal track for Saya.
- The game is roughly 50% complete - the scenario is about done, it's just the art and CGs slowing things up.
