4-koma student council gag series, under the brand of Starchild. I read what's translated of it long ago and found it a pleasant diversion. Plus, 4-koma comedy anime under Starchild. My favorite.

The shounen 4-panel manga Seitokai Yakuindomo by Ujiie Tozen will be getting a TV anime adaptation.

The manga was serialized in the shounen manga magazine Magazine Special, and continued its serialization in the shounen manga magazine Weekly Shounen Magazine.

F-Yeah! Love the manga. Love how "dirty" the girls are in some of their conversations. :p

I thought it was "Setokai no ichizon S2" lol well so much trap with the titles these days :p (like To Aru ... )

My reaction:

Wow, the one on the first cover looks like Misa-chan from Kaicho wa maid-sama and the one on the second is Hinagiku from Hayate no Gotoku.

Maybe JC Staff will be in charge? :D

Ooh...! Tozen's art seems to have done well in the animation process... Looks just like his art.
More importantly, his art has gotten better, huh... Maybe I should go take a look at this book...

lol I recall coming across the manga way back, thinking it was an amusing read and just the day I went to see if there was any new chapters and now I find theres an anime in thw works, groovy!

along with Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai and Hidan no Aria, this is some great news over the past weeks:D

Animation production is by GoHands (Princess Lover!). The director is the same as Princess Lover!'s too

Hmm~ No current complaints about the voice actors, but there is need to hear what they sound like in the anime...

Censored words can be heard in the DVD version... But... If they censor those stuff in the first place, the entire point of this manga goes *poof* though...?

Angela is doing the ED... Which ominously reminds me of Shikabane Hime, while the Princess Lover director is a trauma... Though it is pure comedy after all, so I don't think he can do what he did in PL here at least.

Oh and yeah it would suck if the end up censoring what the girls say, it will defeat the purpose of the manga/series.

The official website has upgraded to its final form, ED confirmed as "Aoi Haru" by angela, and the show will air soon. Like this summer soon.

Actually, it seems to be the fall, as far as Moonphase has recorded it as.

I'm seeing it on Moophase as 07, which would place it in the summer, though the website can clarify that at a later date.

Considering the first DVD/Blu-ray is supposed to be released in August, it's safe to assume it'll start airing this summer.

Character design looks very good, I'm sure Suzu is going to be my favourite. Some words will be censored on TV? Is the language really that bad in the manga?

Edit: Yup, Suzu is my favourite. A real shame only 3 chapters have been translated. Hmm I really want to start Imouto wa Shishunki know, but it looks the scanlation have stopped here too... Hopefully, the Seitokai anime will get enough attention for them to be picked again.

......Arueh~? July = Summer? Okay, I see. Yeah, I read 07 too, but I thought that was considered the fall anime season for some reason... *sweatdrop*

I wish more would be translated, so the manga would be known more... If the anime succeeds, maybe. And then maybe they will animate Imouto too...

The animation/art style looks to be right up my alley. From what I can find out about this series (cast, crew, etc..) I'm pretty excited for it.
