So they did end up including chapter 10 from the manga in the first half of the episode, while the second half covered chapter 13. The story takes a much more furious pace from here on...and it gets pretty confusing :eyespin:. I can't wait for episode 9!

Contrary to some other comments, this was one of my favorite episodes. I absolutely loved the first part of the show, in which we got closer to the night class's society, and their individual feelings and desires. Especially desires. Great work by Minagawa Junko as Luca, I thought. And Ishii Kouji's voice was very strong as Ichijou's powerful granddad.

Having read the manga, I too look forward to next week.

I'm amused that you're counting the number of times Kaname slaps Aidou. Four times out of eight episodes, that's a fairly high percentage rate. I wonder if Aidou keeps a bucket of ice in his room to cool off his cheek? Or maybe he uses one of those blue ice gel packs? :heh:

well, many people consider zero a sexy beast, so why complain. anyways, we're on the eve of the second best arc of the series thus far!! rejoice.

this ep seemed a little slow compared to the others, but in the end, it is the balance to the other really fast ones this series has had. did anyone notice the animation quality dipped a little in this ep too?

Of course, I'm watching this anime just to see those.
Ok, not really.
It's just amusing and really shows Kaname's character (bad in my personal opinion)

And seeing Zero shirtless is always a PLUS, :heh:

I think the only times I have rated an episode less than 10 is if the animation really bugged me. Plotwise, everything is always flowing excellently. The animation is back to its original shoujo glory so 11/10.
