I really enjoyed this episode 2 years ago.

I think I'm watching a recap.... Love the butt view of Hanekawa's behind while on her cat mode and bikini....

We are not sure if last week's episode is consider ep 6 or 5.5. The forum people decided to go for the 5.5 route, so do make sure you get the correct episodes if other people use different systems.

The sub says episode 6 this episode is where saw Araragi is slashed into two and Neko getting tormented by that sword....,,,,:uhoh:

As I say, it seems the subbers are counting the recap as ep6. But I am saying for the purpose of this forum, this week's episode is 6 and last week's is 5.5. So make sure you find out which is witch.

Today's the new episode of a new arc. The recap was a week ago.
So today is the episode #7, but reads as #6 on this forum, :D

Now I'm confused... whatever...:heh:

Holy shit, Ougi does not look human AT ALL.

Ougi has seriously terrific visual design. Based VOFAN.
Interestingly, Shinobu and Mayoi shared the ED animation.

The way this is going, they are going for the "audience can see something is wrong, but the characters are oblivious" angle.

Clearly, the pupil-less eyes symbolising someone with no soul. This is an old animation trick, but enhanced by the fact that no one seem to notice it.

(Note that I don't know who Ougi truly is, as not even the novels said anything yet. I am speaking merely in terms of speculation.)

The end card says differently though. I guess we'll have to wait for Ougi Dark before anything could be said.

The end card has crows and butterflies. Neither are nice symbols, depending on which culture you look for. The black leopard is mysterious though.

The link between Ougi and darkness is blatant at least.

It's not that strange. Ougi just uses big eye. :eyespin:

I just want to clear some things up, since there was some confusion on the matter about the recap and the free-flow run, etc.

The previous episode was a recap episode.
"Officially", it was named as the "6th episode", but the users around named it the "5.5th episode", due to it being a recap episode, like the 5.5 at Bakemonogatari.

Therefore, this episode is "officially" the 7th one, but the 6th one for users who looked at the recap episode as something off.
