The following is a Public Service Announcement regarding the episode count of Zero no Tsukaima season 3.
The TV run of Zero no Tsukaima: Princess no Rondo will contain 12 episodes. The final episode will be airing on Monday, September 22nd (a.k.a. 24:30 on the 21st).
A bonus episode will be included on DVD 4 of 7 that will be released on December 25th. This disc will also contain episode 6 of the TV broadcast, so if the episode fits into the chronology at all, it would be episode 6.5. That being said, it's only listed as "OVA" in the solicitations so far.
In other words, Episode 12 is the last episode of this season's story. There is no "Episode 13", at least not in the usual meaning of the word.

YES YES YES YES YES, I loved the episode!
Tabitha is too cute. Louise was a bit annoying at first but at the end, she is the heroine after all.
No eyecatch, no ED this episode so no special character.

Fuu... Mou ii... Do what you want, JC Staff...

And so, the 3rd season finally comes to an end.
Spoiler for ep12:
Episode-wise, I'll give it a 6/10.
Plot-wise, there were plenty of "...", with a lot of the episode focused on Louise, who spends the whole episode whining or shouting and all of the usual annoying stuff she does, and the fact she magically couldn't use her magic anymore.
I mean, seriously, please at least give us a reason why she couldn't use magic anymore (almost reminds me of the Gandalf rune disappearing part)! And magically gains the magic back (this one is a bit OK, I guess).
Animation was probably the best part of the episode. Very good animation/action... Pity that is pretty much the only thing this episode had.
And in the end, Joseph, the big bad villain, just laughs away. He's definitely been the greatest villain we've seen.
Oh... And there was also a lot of blushing Tabitha, but not liking her, I really didn't care.
Eyecatch is... the first season's, right?
It seems the anime is getting lazy, since for once, there are no SE added to the OP...
...The episode was left so open, it stinks of "Season 4"...
Hah... ( -_-)/
Spoiler for for people that need a short summary:
Saito's group is headed home, but on the way, Louise realizes she can't use magic and decides to whine to Saito, who is having a rather good time with Tabitha.
I don't want to repeat this again, but just noting, that throughout the episode, Tabitha states that if Louise can't use magic, then she will protect Saito... or something like that.
Anyways... After all of that whining and stuff, the group continues traveling. Tabitha starts teaching Saito to read the words of Halkegania, and Louise mopes around.
Until a giant golem falls from the sky, along with Sheffield.
And a battle starts.
None of the characters can even harm the golem, since it has that Elf's Reflect on it, but Colbert and co. come along with some missile launcher, cannon, or whatever it is called that was given to them by Julio, and they set up the cannon. They fire, but nothing happens.
Derflinger says that they need to cast Dispel on the shell, but Louise, good old Louise, just has to start whining again about how she's just normal Lousie now since she can't use her magic and everything. Yes, while everyone is busy fighting, self-centered Louise starts blabbering all of this.
And then Tabitha kisses Saito, causing Louise to get jealous, and at that time, Tabitha tells her to use Dispel, which she tries and succeeds, which causes the bullet to pierce through and destroy the golem.
Blah blah blah
We have Joseph looking from a distance and laughs
Back at the palace, Henrietta basically forgives Louise and gives all of them their nobility back
And we have Saito and Louise kiss.
But of course, throughout the kissing scene, Louise calls Saito a dog.
And thanks to Tabitha interrupting, Louise gets mad and tries to blow him up, but Tabitha uses her familiar to rescue him.
We end with Louise calling Saito a dog, and Saito barking.
Yeah...

As a Tabitha fan I loved the episode. As someone who wants this series to end I hated it.
Please for the love of Zeus let there not be a season 4.

God... That was just so...weird... And with pretty noticeable plotholes as well...
Spoiler for anime:
Louise cannot used her magic? Yeah, ok, but... WHY? They didnt give any real reason..She jsut kind of out of nowhere cannot use her magic... Common, if their script writers had brain problems they could have asked few people from street..I am sure they could have helped better than this...
It all made Louise look rather annoying... She out ogf nowhere looses her powers and then whines through the majority of episode about it...Blah...
I know that there are a few anime fans but you have to admit that the script has been atrocious. They could have given at least a reason why that or the other thing happened...

Menstruation. Duh. ^^

Indeed, the script writing reminded more of menstruation rather than a logical process.

i swear the writers for this anime are some of the worst i have ever seen, other than that the ending seems to show the war for saito's heart has just intensified with another joining the battle

Well Tabitha getting lovey-dovey for Saito was in the novels

But the presentations was different... and this presentation creates a rather different feeling to both, and makes anime look inferior to its novel original.
Sometimes you can't make everything from the novels into anime as some things are rather novel specific like, yet the anime script writers should ensure that even if the scene is changed it is changed tastefully enough...Right now the ZnT looks very rushed, confusing and foolish.
Even if the change is done very closely to the novels the overall feeling that they build in this anime (with their poor scripting) makes it look badly and too rushed.

well im about to watch the RAW in about 20 minutes... and it seems like Tabitha has her moment with Saito? I hope there is a kiss at the end...? Between Louise and Sato i mean...
EDIT: i liked it, i dont care what anybody says.... it was J.C. Staff material lol... Kinda dumb that she couldnt use her power but when tabitha was about to steal her man that all changed... the only thing im interested is when they where kissing...what they where talking about? and the OP didnt have the special effects stuff and no ending is also a first... Of course there is gonna be a 4th season...but we need to find a way to petition so J.C. Staff from 1st can make it and not 2nd and 3rd season... cuz there was to much Fan Service 3rd season even for my taste...
Well all in all i enjoyed 3rd season since i never watched the first 2 season as they aired on TV and im glad i picked this show up for multiple reasons.. Louise being One....(To damn cute) Umm i hope S1 still releases Nov 4 this year and SevenSea get off their lazy ass and send out the first novel (i complain on there forum all the time :p) Gonna Start a little ZnT collection once the S1 Boxset release and buy all the artbooks, and a figure of Louise.... Well i wrote enough..gonna have to save some for the Overall rating since im sure there is gonna be alot of Questions to be answered...
Later.... oh and i give this season 8/10 and episode 10/10 since they kissed twice

I would say season 3 is what i expected entirely after watching season 1 and 2. On the other hand I'm sort of glad theres going to be a season 4 since there could be a lot more added and more storyline put in place, and hope not many plotholes will be there.

just watched the subbed version and damn louise cant express her feeling:rolleyes: im sure saito knows she loves him but i wonder how long will it be before she admits it? Guess she is the Queen of Tsundere...and Hime-sama giveing her that title to me is a bad idea.... I can see alot of conflicting problems between them if there is a correctly done 4th season.... Well time to wait for the OVA and hope it isnt a recap....:D

The funniest part of the episode had to be at the end - Osmond's look of pure terror as Scarron was giving him a victory hug.
