Plot summary : The story centers around Shōgo Mikadono, the son of an industrial magnate named Kumagorō Mikadono who passed away. As a final wish, Kumagorō gave Shōgo a condition before Shōgo can inherit the family legacy — find a female mate at school. Shōgo transfers into a school to fulfill that condition. However, he learns that he has a younger sister who was separated at birth. He does not know what his long-lost sister looks like, but she happens to be one of the students at his new school.

Note : Taguchi launched the light novel series last year, and the fifth volume shipped in August. Mottun* has been adapting the light novel series into a manga (with the subtitle Who is Imouto?) in Media Factory's Monthly Comic Alive magazine since May.

As much as I love imoutos, the story is mediocre with the normal set of character types (except they're all 'imoutos' now). The main thing that annoyed me was that Shougo keeps on questioning himself whether or not <insert girl of the moment here> is his imouto or not, and after the nth time, it just gets tiring. Kinda like Onegai Twins, if you know what I mean. That's not to say the characters aren't likeable, but don't expect too much from the story.

The main draw of the series is CUTEG's art and we all know what generally happens to artwork during adaptations. I guess I'll look forward to the fanservice then. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

From the story, I wouldn't be too surprised if the girl he falls for at the end turns out to be his *actual* imouto XD

From left to right. Hmmm probably an otaku, the usual clueless girl, the normal one, the hyper imouto type and a tsundere. Not sure, maybe.. but good.

I absolutely loved the designs, so I'll keep an eye on this one.
