Fate/ Series - Requests for new threads
 

Since the Fate/stay night forum is limited (only Mods and Admin can create new threads), this thread serves as a way to request a new thread to be created.

Please post here if you wish to request a new Fate/stay night thread. Please bear in mind that we will only accept reasonable requests, we wish to maintain the focus within the forum and cut down on the noise (so no pointless threads cluttering up the place).

With the creation of the new Fate/stay night forum we are experimenting with a new type of series specific forum. It's like the other forums (such as Bleach, Shuffle!, Naruto, etc.) but with one main difference...

Only Mods and Admin can create new threads

Don't forget that you may still post in existing threads as usual, the only restriction is that you may not create new threads within this particular forum. If there is a thread you would like to see, then please post in the Requests for new threads.

The reason is that in the future we want to make more series specific forums to allow greater discussion for popular series. For example, with series such as Fate/stay night we hope that a new forum will help the current problems concerning the posting of game spoilers in the anime discussion threads. Similar problems have arisen in other series discussion threads due to "raw" watchers and "fansub" watchers getting out of step. With new forums we can create discussion threads for many different topics (such as a thread for each episode), which should remove a lot of the problems with spoilers since everyone will be discussing the same topic / episode.

But to help us manage and moderate these new forums we wish to limit the creation of new threads. It doesn't mean new threads can't be created, it's just that only threads approved by the Mods will be created in these forums. It will also help maintain the focus within the forum and cut down on the noise (no more pointless threads cluttering up the place).

Can I suggest a new thread be created to discuss "Speculation of the 7 Servants".

Actually I'm currently thinking of splitting off relevant posts from the generic F/sn thread to create that thread. Such discussion is practically the only consistent thing right now.

How about a disccusion to do with the Merchandise?

I know most of its Game Merchandise, but i still can see it being a good talk~

If you have something that you can post in such a thread then, yes, we shall create one! It will most likely be called Merchandise (Game, Figurines, Artbooks, OSTs, ...) along the lines of the similar thread in the General Anime forum.

Can we have a wallpaper/image/pic/avatar request thread? I seriously want a Tohsaka Rin wallpaper, but all I find is Saber. XD

Currently I'm looking for a particular Fate/Stay Night item, a thread like this might help.

A thread for Character Discussion

Perhaps a discussion thread for each servant and master pair would be appropriate? (I'm not sure of this one, so I'll let our newest moderator, kj1980 make the call.)

And of course the ever-present popularity polls. How about a poll for favorite servants and another for favorite masters? Hhmmmm... I wonder if the favorite master poll would have a few spoilers. Probably best to wait on creating that poll until we know who all the masters actually are. It can be created once there aren't spoilers in it anymore.

Then of course people will start to insist on a favorite girl character poll. Why does every series need to have that identical poll? Maybe we'll escape it in this forum for a change.

I would also suggest waiting a few weeks before creating any new polls (for favourite servants or masters). Give a chance for them to be introduced at least.

Favourite girl... I hope that the above "favourite character" polls would do :)

Since there's nothing on my request, I take it my request is rejected then.

Pity, it leaves a lot of discussion probability, since there already are some major/minor changes from the game to the anime and vice versa that leaves a lot of room for discussion.
