Nn? Original arc...? Tch, worrisome. JC Staff doesn't give a good impression in making original material...

5 is the last volume after all...

Hot spring episode, huh... JC Staff quality, yep. Guess that fanservice OVA for Zero no Tsukaima wasn't enough for them.
Though after the third arc... Even then, i guess it would be that "fanservicy" for some guys (the ones that act like Makoto and drool over ever bit of breasts they can see).
After all... The only one with a chest is Kanzaki-nee-chan. Mikoto, Imouto, Komoe, Kuroko all are flat...

They tried adding fanservice to Shakugan no Shana too, but it was too infused into the story for almost anyone to notice. I hope, however, that the hot spring episode does play as at least a small transition from arc to arc and plays as a major point within the storyline.

Does vol 5 still be included in this season?

Wonder why they aren't going with novel 6? A time issue perhaps? (yet they have time for hot springs filler qq) Isn't this suppose to be 24 episodes? Novel 5 + Filler end in 5 episodes...? Maybe they just wanted a more focused ending on Touma/Index since Novel 5 is Accelerator and Last Order's story.

As for the fan service episode... wouldn't volume 4 have some fanservice.. I remember seeing some nice pics of Kanzaki-nee-chan from that.

So, The sequence would be like this?

vol 3 (mikotos arc) ---> vol 5 (accelerator and last order) --> vol 4 (filler arc?)

No no, Vol 4 before 5. Shouldn't Vol 3 be done with episode 14? Or is it 15?

Vol 1 = 1-6
Vol 2 = 7-9
Vol 3 = 10-14 (go with 14 for example)
Hot Springs Ep = 15
Vol 4 = 16-19 (Expecting new OP/ED here, also if Vol 3 goes to 15 this will probably lose an ep)
Vol 5 = 20... 22 maybe?
Filler Arc close = 23-24 (or maybe just one ep?)

Vol 6 + = Fall 09 probably...

At least that's what it seems like to me going by sb075's post. If this is how it is Index got treated a lot better by J.C Staff than Shana and Znt did.

Kazakiri's story (currently) will be just put in if the second season starts from vol 6 and finishes at vol 13.

But episode 15's subtitle is "Angel fall" and episode 16 is "Father". Perhaps it isn't the "episode" but the adding story in vol 4 arc.

I don't think so. This is how i think they are going to arrange the episode and what Novel their are based on.

Vol 1: Ep1-6

Vol 2: Ep6-9

Vol 3: Ep10-15

Vol 4: Ep16-18

Vol 5: Ep19-24


If theirs going to be a hot springs episode it's either in Vol 4 or an ova.

Ah yes that would make much more sense.

Because volume 5 is a good place to stop, after vacation ends, probably. So they do all of that, and the rest of the episodes, they have fun.

Yes, it has a bit of fanservice and male fanservice, but unless they take the material and stretch it, there shouldn't be enough for a whole episode to be used on fanservice...

It seems that Vol 5 wil start from episode 18.

So Vol 4 is just 2 episodes? Or does Vol 4 start at 15 with 14 being the last ep for Vol 3?

It seems 15-17 is volume 4, and 18 starts 5.

after watched eps 14 and it s next eps preview, I really cant wait to see novel vol 4 adaptation on next episode :D

but really, we wont see much touma in action on vol 5. I hope they ll put vol 6 as the last arc. I want to see Hyouka ^^.

No, according to the top post, after volume 5 is an original arc.

ah yes, I just realized it from that post now ^^. but reading from that preview it looks like they put first Unabara small arc before "Last Order"s :(.
